Me and my equally insane friend are trying to map out this entire shebang and get all the lore together, and then make a whole campaign out of it.
Right now the lore, since we don't have to start the map all over again, is that WW1 happened as normal. HE woke up from his 300 year slumber in WW2, and fought through to the Cold War. This is where history diverged. After the Cold War ends, HE realizes he missed WW1, and by exploiting the time loop that Nikita Khrushchev was in, re-creates this version of WW1 in 1992.
In doing so, he had to use up much of his power and was weakened severely, which is why he kinda sucks in WW1, and which is why he'll be killable in the campaign. Still a CR 24, but killable nonetheless.
The party will be born in Brazil, which because they cut all relations with "the most important countries", will give the party an excuse to not know anything about the world.
It's possibly the worst idea we've ever had, but I love it.

    He Lore:
Born in a world unlike our own, he, son of Ottomans in Spain around Cordoba during the Ottoman attack, born about 300 years before the outbreak of WW1 he had a journey through many battles and wars and it one of these campaigns he found what can only be seen as a miracle, a spring that, to the worlds shock, restored the functioning of cells to full state bringing forever youth and life. He took this liquid to the courts of Europe allowing life to prosper, man had mastered death and began a great crusade for knowledge.
After fighting for years, he had studied everything but due to the many languages of the texts and faulty scribes he misremembered many texts, the great ‘Wikipedia’ he was called by close followers, but he preferred he, one knowledge he gained was Marxist theory, as he helped the people liberate themselves from death, now it was time for liberating them of cruel treatment by capitalists using their endless life to work them forever. Whilst fighting in the Russian Civil war, Hungarian Revolution and Spanish civil war people said he was the ‘Youngest Son of the Revolution’ since he brought them life even managing to heal his own dead tissue post death.
Every time he died his tissue healed better then it ever could and he grew smarter and wiser but this couldn’t stop his hate for the way Stalinism corrupted Marxist theory and began to grow bitter, whilst fighting in Africa he gained a British uniform leading for him to become a spy for the West, after WW2 he grew stronger and stronger until he was a superhuman, a second coming said the Pope, a great scientist said the Scientific sphere but he was greater! He was a man who became a god, this was the second chapter of life!
Sadly for he he began to grow lonely despite his marriage in WW1, it was almost 350 years of nothing. He tried to find something in Cambodia but without a supporting figure his powers drained so he lost, in a bitter rage he did a ton of warcrimes so blatant that the UN wanted him and one day, them got him, he was arrested for warcrimes, on another part of the world an entity known as she rose to power, the longing must be resolved.
So ends he lore until the modern day video.

Heh, love this videos. The Chinese and British being involved in the Punic Wars, who knew?
Lots to unpack. The identity of HE has had it's waters seriously muddied. Suleiman the Magnificent possibly? Seems to reincarnate throughout history. HE also seems to increase effectiveness at the same rate that combined arms improved over the same 20th C time period, the plot thickens.
I guess if the start of WW2 is ambiguous ('37, '39, or '41) then who's to say that WW7 didn't start in the middle of WW1?
Unpicking what is probably meant by these translations is definitely a worthwhile exercise. It can only help, as seeing where and how you and others have gone wrong improves understanding and helps prevent repeating the same mistake.
Yes, it's lucky they met at Versailles and prevented it all from happening again(!) If I could go back and change anything, it would be the late 19th C early 20th C. Pseudo science and extreme politics were mainstream in Europe, it didn't lead to a good outcome. Japan and Britain were allies at the time, hence the island hopping to take over German Pacific colonies. Treated with disdain at Versailles, even as allies, and then getting the short end out of some details of the Washington Naval Treaty, it's no wonder they took the path they did, or at least felt justified in doing so to some degree.

    18. the sinking of the _Prince_ _Umberto_ (which was "the bloodiest war in history"
    19. the Battle of Vincent (one), featuring the photographer at HIS remarriage
    20. German soldiers attacking their own bomb factory, destroying the "Black Jersey" bomb
    21. the Roman Wars, which saw Britain _and_ the Ottoman Empire defeated (is this why Publius Xano is "the destroyer of Britain" in the World War II video?)
    22. the Battle of Duffield 6/Battle of the Boys
    23. Romania versus its allies (and HE)

Princeps is the Latin word that both Prince and Princess come from. It was a masculine word, but it was unusual in that it could mean a woman as well (usually in Roman Latin masculine forms of words only refer to men and feminine refer to women, and neuter refers to a lot of other things). The Romans didn't have a feminine form of the word.
Princeps meant all sorts of nobles, no matter if they were related to any monarch or not. They didn't need to be princes or princesses. But sometimes translations of Latin texts do translate it as prince or princess... it's technically incorrect, even though it is the etymological root for both words.

As a classroom activity to get people playing around, it's a fun concept, but it would just be a problematic tricky lesson if used to judge. You're the teacher. Don't trick them. Show them, then have a little fun on the side to keep them interested and engaged if you'd like. Ungraded, I'd absolutely enjoy investigating that.

    The Life of He.
On July 24th, 1914, the Austro-Hungarian government sent He to Serbia, He refused this order, and supported the Serbians in the fight against Austria-Hungary. He is later seen in Charleroi, however does not fight either side in the city. On September 3rd, 1914, He was killed in the battle of Lava, Austria-Hungary, but just 6 days later, He attacked Theobald von Bateman-Hallweger, leaving many to believe the death of He was Austro-Hungarian propaganda. He is later recruited to the Ottoman Empire, fighting in the battle of Chatur, however his achievements are overshadowed by Lam’s triumphant victory, and He is left behind. He later mysteriously dies in Korea in 1915, but is later remarried in Britain to She. He later leads an army to attack Romania, however this army is destroyed by Romanian forces, following the loss, He builds a church and school in Thessaloniki, Greece. He later receives a military commission from Maurice Heniz and builds several buildings outside the park. He then got up, which is called karma. Reports then reveal that he was born over 300 years in the Ottoman Empire. He was later received at Buckingham Palace by King George V on the evening of December 10th, and visited Buckingham Palace for the first time on November 11, He the takes a short break from the military, until on September 2nd, 1939, Britain and France agreed to send Him to Germany, in an attempt to halt the German advances during the Ghost War. He is eventually pushed back to Belgium, where He founded the city of London, where He holds off the German advance. After waiting a few more months, Hitler attempts to invade Britain, but He masterfully prevents this from happening. He is then sent to Central Africa, after fighting in France and the UK in the Christmas War of 1940, a war that had lasted for 24 years, The result of this war is unknown. He was then sent to Crete, where his army and himself established the Kingdom of Crete. Two years later in November, 1942, He led an army from Alexandria, Egypt, to Moratus, Hungary. In 1944, growing tired of British leadership, He switches sides, joining German forces, summoning the Estonian army to destroy the Soviet Empire, this attempt sees He’s first major defeat, it is never confirmed, but is suspected that He retired from war following the loss, until in 1950, He is declared missing, leaving many to believe he died in the war, He is later seen alive in 1959, when he flies 5,990 kilometers over the ocean, without an airplane, He then puts his flying skills to the test, as in 1967, He flies around the moon 10 times before returning to Earth, He arrived back in the US on July, 20th, 1969. Just one year later, He becomes the first astronaut to land on another planet, it is unspecified which planet this is, another year later on December 2nd, 1971, He becomes the first human to arrive on Mars. In 1975, He makes his great return to combat, however, in a naval rescue mission against the Khmer Rouge, He makes his second major loss, as he leads his entire team to failure. In 1979, NATO threatened nuclear expansion in Europe, which is (apparently) the second time He has had this happen, this leaves the populous to believe that He is an almighty god. In 1982, we learned that He is Spanish, contradicting earlier reports of him being born in the Ottoman Empire. Following the events which led Sri Lanka to ban their communist party, He is nicknamed “the youngest son of the Soviet Revolution.” In October 1983, American forces invade Grenada, with the help of He, the Grenadian Communist Party is overthrown, He overthrows the Cuban Army as well, limiting Cuban ambitions in the Caribbean and neutralizing the threat they posed to America, He then prevents the Soviet Union from constructing an airport, believing that they were trying to undermine American influence. In May, 1984, He condemned aid to the rebels. In 1985, the United Nations convicts He of crimes against humanity and war crimes in Argentina from 1976 to 1983. In 1986, SHE, suspected of being He’s wife, became the first female president of the Philippines.
Yes, I added some of this on my own, but I felt like it gave more character and reasoning for the actions of our glorious, tall, handsome, strong, independent, respectful, almighty god, the one and only. HE. (wow, this is really long now.)

He speculation: He got married in 1915, and got progressively stronger after that. Before He got married, he died twice in one year. After He got married, He's building things, fighting, etc... My theory is that He married She, and is slowly draining her godly powers to become more and more powerful- and since he died and came back twice, we can guess that He's just immortal, so if She tries to kill him for the power draining, He will just come back like a few months later and drain more and more power until He has infinite power.

I'm still wondering how He came back to life, but aside from that, that would make some sense! After all, He was weak in 1914, rather strong in 1916, even stronger in the 1940s, and godlike in the Cold War. Perhaps He grew stronger _because_ He remarried.
      Thanks for the theory!

Mr. Terry, I think I have a theory who HE is.. He is a supranatural humanoid creature of some sort. HE's someone similar to that of Link, from The Legend of Zelda, more specifically Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Look at it, the arc of HIM in WW1 and WW2 is just sort of normal, while in Cold War it was godlike. In Ocarina of Time Link was basically a normal boy and teenager albeit quite strong while in Majora's Mask he had a chance to transform into a wrathful warrior known as the Fierce *Deity* Link... Which well had a godlike power... Ocarina of Time is WW1-2 and Majora's Mask is Cold War. Oh, and the latter game has smth to do with moons, similar with the Cold War arc of HIM.
How in the world I can draw a paralel between a medieval fantasy game and a poorly translated history is beyond me. One thing that Ik is that as a Zelda fan boy, HIS actions are too similar to be unnoticed sir.

I still love Bf1's portrayal of WW1 the entire game. "The Messenger" section which is the beginning of the Gallipoli campaign is a heroic gut punch at the end, and is about "Passing the Torch" that being knowledge/wisdom and courage no matter what stands in the way. Also to add on that you never really "win" in any of the campaign sections. Or at least should make you take a reflective look at how senseless and uncompromising the war was, even the small parts. A journey for glory only to be quickly filled with the most unimaginable horrors mankind could come up with at that point.
"You are not expected to survive." (Harlem Hellfighters) Shows the horrors of Flame throwers, Chlorine Gas, Massive artillery barrages and the birth of Mechanized Warfare.
The tanker one expands on the birth of British MK-5, German Av-7's and how they became a major precedent on the battlefield.
The rest is for you if you haven watched or played it, and the soundtrack is amazing too boot.
