Hi Pam! Love your channel, you were the one who inspired me into this wonderful world of junk journaling and now have a huge collection; can't seem part with them, they are like my children! Being a Turtle lover myself, always remember that when Turtles are on the move they are either females looking for a safe place to lay their eggs or males looking for females and both are following ancient migration paths that have been interrupted by human development. Best to move them to safely in the same direction they are headed so they can complete their "mission" if possible! Thanks for all the inspiration!

You are a hoot Pam... turtle rescuer... lol. I live near rivers and lakes too, the turtles go to dry land to find a place to lay their eggs, I help the turtles in their direction of travel either to land or back to water... in my minds eye I can see a chubby lil prego turtle piddling on you because she has to struggle back to dry land to lay her eggs.... thank you for rescuing turtles. loving these journal cards

I got a good chuckle about the turtles 🐢 my husband and I like to ride around and travel short trips and we've had encounters with wild life. We've saved a few turtles over the years. I don't do the rescuing, I'm the lookout, my husband does the handling. I would freak out too! LOL!❤
if it was piddle, we'll just say it was water LOL!!❤ Yeah thats water it's just better we not know what it really was. Turtles saved and that's what matters right?

Good morning everyone! My husband took a inexpensive plastic ruler (thrift store find) and made a jagged tearing ruler for me. Works great! CZcams has videos that are helpful in making one. Love building up the ephemera stash. Thanks for the ideas Pam and fam! 💕 Hope all is well Miss Alanna! 🤗

I get excited when I find a field guide book at the thrift store. I love the look of the crinkled brown bag, since New York took our plastic bags away now we pay for brown bag or bring our own so I have been collecting brown bags for projects. Hope you have a good weekend, take care! 💜

I’m in NY and had a little rain today, but wow what beautiful weather we are having.
I love the tearing and inking paper, I’m watching carefully lol to learn more!
My hubby worked for Ash Grove Cement Co in KC, they were trying to build a plant in Nevada, when doing their initial investigation into environmental regs. they came across TURTLES. Those buggers caused the abandonment of that project and the loss of multi-millions of $$$$. They would have had to pick up all the eggs and carefully rehire them in specific ways and places. Lol.
Mornin' Pam. I'm still playing with snowflakes ❄. Trying different papers but I'll move on to other things after I run out of paper ideas to cut snowflakes from. 😁 We got dumped on last night so I'll be dealing with shoveling and my oldest son coming in with plow truck. My middle son comes over to snowblow the sidewalks but I still have to do both porches and the patio, clean off my car and shovel around the car and the garbage cart...🙄 I'm getting to old to deal with all this snow! 🤔 maybe I'll call my grandson to deal with it! 😁👍 Have a great day. Love this! When I first started watching you did all book pages, mostly. Also showed books u use. Which I got a few. Yes, my first videos were of u. So, I started with make up, shoe polish, now I got inks, and just random supplies. But. Almost 2 years later. Ty for being so cheery! I myself on the back country roads of NH have saved a few turtles myself. Lol

You can also make a tear ruler by taking a plastic ruler and using an iron to rough up its edges!

So much fun! There's a great recipe for choc. pudding using avocado...so that's healthy and good for you, right? 🙂 use a really ripe avocado. Whirrr it in blender until really smooth. Add 1/4 cup cacao powder, 1/4 C real maple syrup, 1/6 C almond milk, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 pinch cinnamon, 1/2 pinch salt.

I really enjoy your videos and love your ideas and when I see pages that have pictures on both sides I copy the paper so I can use both sides .... ooh and We also rescue turtles from the road and a bit of info for anyone who helps them. When you see a turtle crossing the road we were told to pick them up walk a straight line and place them just off the road because they know the path they are taking .So you don't want to change their course. We rescued 1 that was so large it took 2 people to lift him....not only heavy but he was a snapping turtle.

I love to use old field guides for my ATCs! It's always hard to decide which side of the page to use. All the pictures are so pretty. I get mine at the thrift store. :)

I've never been a fan of perfume, but I too remember getting a bottle of Skin Musk from my mom for Christmas. Loved it! We are talking vintage 1970's. I just googled for a picture so I can add it to my journal for a memory I haven't thought of in years. Thanks for mentioning it Pam! p.s. you should check out how much a vintage 1970's bottle of musk costs on ebay now...holy moly!
Hi Pam! Those big turtles you rescue are gopher tortoises. They are land animals - they do not live in the water. When you move them out of the road, just put them on the side of the road in the direction they were heading. Their burrow is probably nearby. If you move them too far away, that's when they get lost. If you put them on the wrong side of the road, they'll just turn around and try to cross it again! Please pass that information along to your neighbors! Thank you for rescuing them! Great video, as usual!
Love these cards. I don't have a tear ruler but from watching others, they lay the ruler on the small strip of paper and pull up on the larger side. It seems to work for them.

Oh yeah, finger control loss experience - an opportunity to learn to use new tool, tweezers, awkward like learning to use mouse or one of those craft tools like WeR Quickstik. When I was a kid, I made Barbie (Tammy) clothes and sewed armholes, yes!!!! Now I battle with three-hold punch droppings on the floor.

Pam, I have watched you for a couple of years and never get tired of seeing the things you come up with. Love your Digitals. Have you ever thought of using actual tea bags minus the tea in your journals? The colors are great after they dry and the tea is removed. Been thinking about using them as pockets or making them into flowers and leaves.
Good morning.. Thanks for trying to save the turtles BUT ... One should help them go in the same direction they were heading because they will just try again. They maybe nesting , migrating or mating. I'm from Nevada also and that's what we're told to do because turtles are protected . In realality you should avoid picking them up at all.. 😉

About the picking up. I am having the same issue. I think I've got it but then not!!! My fingers feel thick. I wonder if because we do so much touching items that our finger tips become less sensitive?! I'm always doing wither needle felting or paper craft and so the index fingers and thumbs are in constant use, not to mention cleaning cookers etc. PROBLEM SHARED!! XB
