When I heard Penny Marshall passed my heart sank. As a kid I would watch Lavern and Shirley every morning before going to school and after school. I would set my alarm so I wouldn't miss an episode in the morning. I loved her and her work growing up as a kid. She was apart of my childhood and brought so many great memories involving my mom and I. She not only was a brilliant actress and director but she brought so much sentimental memories and value to me and my family. A beautiful soul. R.I.P. Penny. You are so missed and loved by everyone. Thanks for all you've given us and all the memories.

Laverne & Shirley was in reruns when I was watching it in my youth but I still quote it, even though most have no clue what I’m referring to 😂 “Betty please, Betty pick up please” And at one time, I even had cats named Lenny & Squiggy. I didn’t realize Penny directed Jumpin Jack Flash but that movie sure left an impression on me too and it was at that moment when I saw it that I decided whenever I was old enough to work, it had to be some place where I’m behind a computer, and sure enough if that didn’t come true 😊 RIP Penny 💐

Just lost my mother this past August and I have grieved constantly since then. Grief does come on in waves while I am working out, or working, or at any time it will sneak up on me and sieze me and my eyes fill with tears as I remember the vivid images of her final days. Mom was such a fighter! Watching these videos has comforted me as they are an homage to people we love and respect, done with grace, reverence and kindness. Penny and Gary are buried in a beautiful place so similar aesthetically to where my mother is buried in Alabama. Deer and even a loping wolf have been seen darting about my mother's resting place. Thank you Scott for helping me expiate and process my grief and loss. I appreciate your work and I have liked and subscribed to it. Thank you!

The first tv show that I remember seeing Penny on was The Odd Couple with Tony Randal and Jack Klugman. She played Jack's secretary. Scott you always show respect in your videos, but to me in this one at the end it seems like you were about to tear up which is ok when someone you love has passed away.

I used to Trick or Treat at her house on Crooked Mile Road here in Westport, CT. She is at Forest Lawn now. Another actress I used to know a little bit: Eva Le Gallienne. No grave, just scattered at her Weston CT property (where one of my childhood girlfriends' mother's used to work, living there too, in a little guest cottage at the end of the driveway. One more good one for you: Dan Hartman, an awesome musician with a coup;e of big hits who used to live on the big hill on Ford Road here in town. He was creamated, not sure about a potential gravesite. One more great one, for a day or two before next Christmas, a guy who lived in my town for awhile and is now buried at Woodlawn: Johnny Marks, the songwriter who basically owns Christmas (he wrote Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, Holly Jolly Christmas, and others. While you're out here on the east coast, I will show you the local sites (a couple of good bars) and Willowbrook Cemetary, where both my parent's are.

They spend all their money on the houses lol. But no most of the nice cars are in the garages and the regular cars seem to be workers in the area

Just lost my mother this past August and I have grieved constantly since then. Grief does come on in waves while I am working out, or working, or at any time it will sneak up on me and sieze me and my eyes fill with tears as I remember the vivid images of her final days. Mom was such a fighter! Watching these videos has comforted me as they are an homage to people we love and respect, done with grace, reverence and kindness. Penny and Gary are buried in a beautiful place so similar aesthetically to where my mother is buried in Alabama. Deer and even a loping wolf have been seen darting about my mother's resting place. Thank you Scott for helping me expiate and process my grief and loss. I appreciate your work and I have liked and subscribed to it. Thank you!

The first tv show that I remember seeing Penny on was The Odd Couple with Tony Randal and Jack Klugman. She played Jack's secretary. Scott you always show respect in your videos, but to me in this one at the end it seems like you were about to tear up which is ok when someone you love has passed away.

Idea for a video for you to do: Betty Davis. I used to Trick or Treat at her house on Crooked Mile Road here in Westport, CT. She is at Forest Lawn now.
Another actress I used to know a little bit: Eva Le Gallienne. No grave, just scattered at her Weston CT property (where one of my childhood girlfriends' mother's used to work, living there too, in a little guest cottage at the end of the driveway.
One more good one for you: Dan Hartman, an awesome musician with a coup;e of big hits who used to live on the big hill on Ford Road here in town. He was creamated, not sure about a potential gravesite.
One more great one, for a day or two before next Christmas, a guy who lived in my town for awhile and is now buried at Woodlawn: Johnny Marks, the songwriter who basically owns Christmas (he wrote Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, Holly Jolly Christmas, and others. While you're out here on the east coast, I will show you the local sites (a couple of good bars) and Willowbrook Cemetary, where both my parent's are.

OMG... I love the "sit on it' from Happy Days bench and the "L" for Laverne on her grave! She made me laugh so much with Laverne and Shirley. So cool that the two siblings are next to each other in death. I know they were close.
