I’ve got an S1. They are AWD but when tuning, you can disable the haldex to make the car FWD. this is done when companies haven’t got an AWD dyno. You can do the exact same with Golf R’s, S3’s etc
Sorry guys, maybe I’m wrong, but this is a 4wd car. Why in this with video we see just the front wheel turning. Maybe I missed something but this is a four wheel car.! So it’s not an S1 I Drive one !! I'm sorry, I took it personally Because I’m driving 350HP On an S1 😢

Shouldn’t this be seeing around 500hp mark? Or has owner opted for limited power?
In germany there are a few S1's that are at 550hp and one with over 600hp. Probably the tuner that's the problem
For that ypu need to transfer engine head and pistons from s3/ golf r engine

@@MauriceNL1 Nope. It’s the Mk 7.5 GTI motor. Similar but not as strong as Golf R/ Audi S3.

Your are right, the S1 is 4WD. However, we disconnect the haldex controller to make it FWD for our Dyno / tuning purposes 😎
I thought the S1 is 4wd, whats going on when the front wheels are only in use. Not sure what your trying to show here, not an S1
Many tuners disconnect the Haldex AWD system for dyno testing. Very simple to do and allows use of a 2WD dyno.
