From Amsterdam to Paris in less than 30 minutes? How many times was this video sped up? I live in Southern Netherlands and I've made the trip to Paris many times, so from the Dutch A16 onward to the point the French A1 was left I guess I knew the route.

Yeah, in Belgium (and France probably too) motorcycles can pass traffic jams between the outermost left lanes, thereby not going more than 20 km/h faster than the surrounding traffic or exceeding 50 km/h. Which seems fair to me.
In the Netherlands this is also illegal (a traffic violation). There is an exception: if the speed of the cars is not faster than about 5 km/h in a traffic jam. In other cases the motorcyclist must follow the same rules as for cars.
No kidding? We saw the names of Antwerpen, Oost-Vlaanderen, West-Vlaanderen etc flash by, didn't we? You can also drive around it through Germany, or take the ferry via England.

In Belgium too and thats ok, they just have to be careful and the drivers have to check their mirrors in trafic jams .
