Also, is there a chance to filter/categorize flamingo inbound messages somehow? I have two contact forms on the website, on two different pages. Is there a way to separate or make categories for each page and not have all the messages mixed together?

This is an amazing video. Thanks Matt! I think I did everything in your video in order. But I have questions. First, I did not receive any email when I filled out the form. It does not work. Where could I have gone wrong? Secondly, how can I change the typography and color of the labels? And I want to set some labels side by side, how can I do this?

If it is not, follow this guide: czcams.com/video/GwmkX6zImWw/video.html if it does, than make sure that the sender of the form is also the exact email address as your domainname.

Well given, very helpful. Can you tell me though, if you go to the 'mail' tab then scroll down to 'Mail 2' how do I stop the recipient seeing that the email has come from 'Wordpress'? I have my emails set up properly.

How about playing with the layout. I don't like everything stacked. For instance, I would Like *First Name* and *Last name* to be to boxes on the same row. Then maybe Phone and email on the next row, next to each other, and so on. I don't like every box to be on a single row because it takes a lot of vertical space and wastes a lot of horizontal space

@WPressDoctor Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. Yes, I doublechecked it, the website is sending from an email ending with the same domain name. I just realised that the reason might be that I tested the contact form before adding reCapcha and it marked the email as spam and now it keeps ending up in the spam folder regardless that I added reCapcha. I tried it with different email addresses and they all arrive in the main inbox, only the original one keeps going to spam. So I assume it is working correctly now. Interestingly the CZcams notification email about your answer ended up also in spam.

Thanks for this. When I installed reCAPTCHA like you outlined it shows the badge on all pages. Is there a way to only show it on the form page?
Hi there! Unfortunately that’s how reCaptcha works these days. But there is a way to hide the entire thing completely on your website while it still works 😎 try this:

Hi there! Well that depends on your email address, it has to end to the same domainname. If thats not possible of you can't do it, you should try to use czcams.com/video/GwmkX6zImWw/video.html to connect your WordPress website with another email platform. Does that help you out?
Hi Matt! Once I added reCaptcha V3, my PageSpeed Insights score for mobile went from 45 (which I thought was a bad score) down to 10. The main opportunity says to Reduce unused JavaScript the culprit being reCaptacha adding almost 4 seconds. Then suggests Reduce unused CSS (how do i do that?). Should I disable the reCaptcha? Would using Akismet only be enough with Contact form 7? Thank you!!

Hi Yuan, Thank you for your question. That is strange! To check if your server is OK, install the "WP Mail SMTP" by WPForms plugin, it can test if e-mail can be send out by your hosting company.

I have an option field for my users where they can chose between 1, 2 or 3 days.
Now I want to change the text they will receive in the automatic mail, depending on what they have choosen.
Example:
They choose "2 days"
Then the user should get a text block like "If you stay 2 days, the price will be different..."

Hi Werner! Thanks for your question. I sure know what you mean! This sounds like you can fix this with conditional logic. So when the user fills in 1 day, he gets another response email from you than when he fills in 2 days. I don't know how easy this is to do with CF7, I always use Gravity Forms for complex forms and conditional logic 😃 This is my latest tutorial on that: czcams.com/video/1U-kROHH3nc/video.html

Hi Derek! Thanks for the question. Usually I don’t use either of them. I ALWAYS use Gravity Forms. I have a license for that so all websites I build I put it in. It’s way more user friendly, it has endless possibilities and can be styled very good within Divi. What form are you always using in your sites?

If you receive it than it works! It could also be something else, check themeisle.com/blog/fix-contact-form-7-not-sending-email/#fix-contact-form-7-sending for more ideas now to fix it!

Yes, I used the same 1 email address for both the "to"and "from."When I tested my form, it gives me this message in a red box :"There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later."

Well it can be a lot of things. Is your hosting enabling you to send emails from Wordpress for example?

Hi there! Make sure the sender e-mail adres is the same as your domain name. Also you could test with the WP Mail SMTP plugin if WordPress is able to send emails from the installation.

Hi Dafson! Thanks for the question. That’s annoying! Well there is a way to change the settings of reCaptcha 3 to make it less sensitive. You coul me try that! It’s in the Google reCapchta settings from Google. Let me know if that worked.

Hi @@WPressDoctor , sorry for the late response and thank you very much for commenting. I already checked and I don't have any field with the same name. In fact, I did some tests and I realized that it only happens when I attach a file that exceeds the limit.
The strange thing is that I already set the limit to 8MB and for some reason the form still allows it to be uploaded, instead of generating the programmed response for those cases; and when submitting the form the message "This field is required" appears in all fields
Ah ok. It could be be caused by the file limit of WordPress self and not by the limit set by CF7

Always amazing content. However, i'm still getting slammed with spam/bot etc. (and yes, I see the little recaptcha badge but I still get it). I had to add a math equation to my form in order to cut the bots off. Two plus five sort of thing.

Hi Vishal! Well that's easy, make sure your DKIM and SPF DNS records are correct and send from a email that is that exact domainname 😊

Good tutorial, but I think you made it very confusing the part talking about the from and to emails. The way you explained is like the both are one and the same. And I am still confused trying to see the difference, from the mail form's perspective.

actually discovered i was using elementor contact form and not wp contact form, so i had to add recaptcha through elementor settings.
