I am so happy for Scorsese to finally be able to direct a film with Jim Norton in it.
They need a certain quota of disabled people on set to be nominated for an Oscar. The Academy saw Jimmy and said "pull back a little".
@Ebony Queen that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I thought it was funny and that's all that matters to me. Thanks for going out of your way to denounce a joke. You're doing the Lord's work.

That’s 180 in mollusk years though

This made me laugh thank u
I bet Jim was so happy he got to hold a mic as a standup in this role...he finally knew what to do with his hands!
Linger longer
Even his blinking came in handy in this role
I know what I would do with my hands if i saw jimmy acting . It involves a bat , and a recreation of that scene from Casino
First Little jimmy gets a part in the blockbuster Spiderman, and wham 19 years later he is in The Irishman.. his acting career is blowing up!
Haha!
his next big role may just be a corpse in a Spielberg flick.
I love Ant and Lil Jimmy together so much.
they're like the last two pieces of the puzzle.
-Forever satisfying/convicted.

@muka ferguson Your brain.
Meanwhile, Opie gently weeps...
Alright settle down peter puffer
It warms my heart that Scorsese participates in the Make A Wish program by letting little Jimmy in his movie.
Norton was actually an inspired bit of casting to play don rickles.
Yep. Blessed by the man himself before he passed
Agreed. I can't even look at Jim now without sort of seeing Don Rickles. He really does look like him.
But aren’t all roles casted in a movie inspired by the filmmakers? I don’t understand. Did you mean that it was not originally in the script, but the filmmakers thought it would be a nice touch to tie Rickles into a scene with a similar-looking comic given that multiple real comics were already in the cast?
Jimmy Norton is the human manifestation of "dream come true". I've never met him and I probably never will, but damn do I feel good for him.
Jimmy is the ultimate sincere, albeit creep at times, fan. Not malicious or dangerous, just annoying and douchy. It's kind of heroic in it's own weird way.
William Poole you might meet him if you are in the world of women who have have penises
i do too. good for jimmy
Jim Rickles was his best character yet. He should have tried to sneak in a very tiny "...tss" while filming, so Chip would be in the Irishmen
Cosmic Slaughter Could be canon. Chip is already confirmed to have an association with the mob
He did do that exact bit on Jim and gay-boi
Fuuck yeahhhhh

Jim Norton's Don Rickles was spot on. I did not know he could act! He as great.
What an amazing movie. Was really surprised when I heard Jimmy's voice out of nowhere.

It must of been a great honor to be in a Scorsese film, but to play Don Rickles is really cool.

This is a great interview. Jim Norton crushed the show and the movie. Enjoy, Jimmy!

@d d you suck.
You can see The Irishman on Netflix. Jimmy’s part starts about 1:48:15 left in the movie. That’s the only scene he’s in.
He friggin nailed Don Rickles! Great job.
Loved the film so much, was absolutely amazing seeing all the greatest actors ever together. When I seen the Don Rickles tribute it brought a tear to my eye. It was a nice thing that Martin Scorsese did, especially set in the Copacabana💙
I had no idea that was Jim Norton. When that scene arrived, I verbally said "YES!" when I realised they put Rickles in. A complete legend.
Just like Mandolorian, the Irishman was one of those properties I was like "Sounds great but I'll probably not get around too it."
But now that I know Bill Burr is in one and Jimmy is in the other I just have to see both.
Mandalorian is trash...bill hasnt shown up in 4episodes..irishman without jimmy is a great film so watch Irishman
@@Swagbearpig why is it trash
four episodes in and i havent seen butr its pretty infiriating cuz that was one of the selling points for me even bothering to stream disney+
ryan silkwood Completely agree. The Mandalorian sucks. Boring and predictable. Its like watching someone else play a video game. Looks great, but otherwise its terrible. Fanboys jizz their pants over every stupid reference to Star Wars. I dont get it.
Edgar Mendez lol paying
the usual fantastic product from one Anthony Cumia.
Congratulations to Jim on this and all of the other - huge.

No matter what we think about this movie, I think we should all be thankful to Scorsese for employing so many comics in a serious film. I hope this becomes a standard.
I absolutely adore Jimbo. I'm so excited for his success. He's such a hard worker, he deserves the best! 😁

Dave "Bobo" Landau. Catch lightning in a bottle? Anthony has a bottle of lighting in the cabinet. It has two bolts of lighting for the logo and it comes from pre 1945 Germany.
I know that not the real Bobo. He's just his look alike. Dave will play Bobo in the O&A biopic.
Das a rush 😝
I absolutely loved seeing him in this movie

Great show fellas!
Jim did Don proud. Great job casting him as Don.
Mind blown... great job dude. Immortalized for sure in a film like that.
Jim's scene was my favorite.
I saw you do Rickles in the movie and I feel you did a great job The timing was perfect The cadence just right
Happy for Lil Jimmy Norton ❤️
Rickles went from "Mr. Warmth" to "Mr. Worm"
Jimmy is such a sweet boy.
tussleable.
Adorable Huggable Boy Disorder.
This was so awesome
I love when Ant and Jim are together
And discussing the Irishman
Jimmy actually did good as Rickles, he sounded a lot like Don without it being a caricature.
i wish i could hear colin quinn rip into jimmy for how excited he is about this lmao
I love my Jimmy!
Ah, the great Marty Scorses. What a guy.
Rewatched it last night. Seeing Jimmy made the long wait thru worth it
Patrice would've loved that Jimmy was on the Movie with de Niro & Scorsese, but he would've roasted him for that look non-stop
I want to hear Opies take on this. 😂
"okay, Lets go to Mongo the Trucker."
He would just read what Steven S. In Bayshore wrote.
Hold on Hold on Hold on! 18 yeeeears!!!! Coulda beena model!
Leave it alone
Just leave it alone
“Jimmy’s Rickels just seemed a little light in the loafers...a little light in the loafers I say.”
Rickles Was FREAKING Fearless!
I'd like to see him riff on the common man though in my opinion it was always like a Freemason roasting other Freemasons
I would love to see Jimmy’s stand up from the filming that day
Listen to Opie and Anthony in Massachusetts in the 90's was fucking awesome!
Lil yimmy is happy as a clam, warms my cold dead heart
I love happy jimmy
I was watching all the old dean martin roasts fuck they were amazing back then with the ball busting
Scorsese said that the Copa scene was especially difficult to shoot, because he didn't want to let Jimmy as Rickles forget that he danced. Luckily the ILM and visual effects people were there.
I love little yimmy I needed to know if he asked for the pics
Happy birthday little Yimmy
Ant should have had a part in the movie....Jim should’ve pulled out his cell and do the pick ...once in a life time.....
*Jimmy did an impeccable job in The Irishman* #KudosSir
He is the pefect Rickles.
Great Nopie episode!!!
jim was great on it ahahahzah
Jimmy was great in his cameo
Ant always did the best Dice impression
Jimmy was great as Rickles. It was a cool way to have Don in the movie. But Steven Van Zandt didnt work as well in the movie as Jerry Vale. At one point his lip syncing is just terrible.
I thought the movie was too damn long (it's longer than Titanic, for God's sake), but holy shit...Joe Pesci was just effortlessly amazing. Haven't seen the dude act in 20 years but holy cow: he nailed it.
Very much touched by the Rickles character, Jim was very respectful in that role.
Joe Pesci make Bob Deniro and Pacino seem like the fellas of the show “friends”!! Pesci’s the only G among them!!!
" Tap dance, while he shaves "
Oooooh Yimmy!
Not many people i know like it..i was surprised
6:46 cumia with another great delusional line
I was aftraid that I could watch 3 hour movie even with all star casting and director. But Jimmy on it it's a must see.
Pesci's performance was probably the best I've ever seen. Next level.
Jimmy's default smile he does in every picture is terrifying
Wouldn’t it be cool to have Opie and Jim on an episode with Ant?
No
Ray Romano is awesome in Get Shorty the series.
Perusing casually is an oxymoron. To peruse means you look carefully.
Oooh. I like it. Vocabulary is a dying art form so to speak. I like to use the Webster's 1828 (it's also an excellent dictionary to use if you study the King James Bible. The greatest book ever in English) or books like Beowulf
Happy Jimmy makes baby Jesus cry...
Man I miss Ant and Jim together.
It's great to see how genuinely happy and excited Norton gets over big moments in his career and his showbiz relationships. A lot of times it could come off as disingenuous name dropping but I get the impression that Jim really is awed over how his life has played out.
just look how he acts with photos and autographs.. permanent fanboy
Jim was great even in such a small role
Peci was the best performance
If i had one wish it would be to watch jim nortons part in the Irishmen and a Netflix kevin heart stadium special with Patrice....goddammit...
Rickles Dice Clay rules
It’s wild. Many of you are famous. But Jim in a Scorsese film...he’ll be part of film history forever
I really like Dave. No homo. He’s a great co host, but he’ll make an even better host when the opportunity arises.
He's proven to be an incredible on air personality. Sometimes a relatively "unknown" persona can be a more successful choice than a well-known one.
XXthekingofyouXX Well said. Just like the newest singer in Journey.
I'm happy for Jimmy. Love that creep.
If jimmy weren’t in this movie he would be ripping it to shreds and ruining it for everyone.
Why? It's a great movie
Suq Madiq I liked the movie too. The aging cgi looked terrible on my tv. It’s distracting. That’s the type of thing jimmy usually points out and ruins movies.
@@Grexslamfist it looked fine on mine
Honestly pretty good casting. He did Rickles justice. Good job Yimmy.
I'm happy for the sweet boy
Whenever people list scorcese's good films; they never mention "gangs of new york", "the aviator", or "the departed". Don't people love the dicaprio movies too?
The departed is one of his best and I would say a lot of people agree.
Great movie but I would have loved to see Ray Liotta play Crazy Joey. Probably too old for the role but the guys just a great actor.
Can’t wait to see lil Jimmy’s next performance in Schindler’s List 2!
Dave was 1000000% the best choice for the show! I love Ant and Dave’s chemistry!
*cue Curb Your Enthusiasm theme*
Hope Jimmy only becomes famous now for his Rickles impression
I was just about to comment that exact thought. But I don't think Jimmy could do an entire Rickles movie as the lead. Don't get me wrong, I 100% hope he does.
Known only for that to the point that he hates it
Ray Romano is really good in the tv take on Get Shorty
For Jim to go from "Bob?" asking for a photo to being spanked by him and then in a Scorsese movie with him, is insane.
"Between seafood courses, the four gunmen burst into the dining room and
opened fire with .32- and .38-cal. revolvers. ...Twenty shots were fired and Gallo was hit in the back, elbow
and buttock. .....A differing account of the murder was offered by hitman and union activist Frank Sheeran, who claimed that he was the lone triggerman in the Gallo hit." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Gallo
So this gives me the impression, without knowing much about it, that this guy might have been a fall guy, and if that were proven true, it would serve as a precedent indicating that maybe Richard Kuklinski was also a scapegoat for murders committed by many different mob members as I have suspected for a while.
kukliniski was a bullshitter guy was more a serial killer then a mob hitman
