"We are not there to make money we want these people to have access" very kind! hahah
😂 The lie all billionaries tell peasants across time
😂😂😂😂
Meta has the worst track record for selling user data of all.
Meanwuhile Google is pimping you and me out to coorporations to target.
What I hate about this app is that it demands access to my contacts list - it will not let me create a separate list for the app.
What I hate is it collects metadata, unlike Signal.
It is so easy to spot, basically if U$ C!A support WhatsApp, then you know the app is spying app.
WhatsApp's boss stresses on security. However, Wired posted an article in 2021 about WhatsApp sharing with Facebook user data. How about that?

@@bradfordjhart*due. Learn English, China.
Facebook owns WhatsApp tho loool same eith Instagram their owned by Facebook looool fool
and whatsappp was tracking by intelligence agency. one of the other encrypted apps was made by a government agency. looks like apple the only one that real keeps things private.
Whatsapp and Facebook owned by same company
I love how he froze when the interview person mentions META's lawsuits and the guys proceeded to shit on the safety on Tiktok without mentionning whatsapp's and META's safety concerns.
The school of thought that American misbehaviour is inherently better than the misbehaviour of others, as seen in security and diplomacy practices over decades…
Get banned, China
In Jordan you can use WhatsApp for messaging but not for calls.
the privacy of own data is one to decide ,govt have no role to play in it.
if democracy decide to ban these free communication medium ,it would be disappointment for society as whole.
We are long past that, chief.
One of the best facilities from a business point of view is being able to send sensitive documents via WhatsApp.
I wouldn't trust an App that is subject US law for my E2EE.
What nonsense. All mobile phones using ARM can be spied upon by Pegasus sold by NSO, aren’t they?. Perhaps that includes yours truly’s!.
The creators are paying the price right now, aren’t they?.
i've heard whatsapp has backdoor or something for those govt agencies.
in fact, it is the worst in terms of privacy and security among similar apps...
Is he referring to the US as authoritarian, without saying it?
If you say so bat and brainwashed
The banning of WhatsApp is a serious concern that affects people all over the world. It appears that the world is being closely monitored, and this change is significant. I appreciate you sharing this insightful video on the subject.
Oh please we don't care
He is broadminded, smart and so understanding..very nice answers 👍
WhatsApp is the main mode of sending text messages, having group chats, sending media, making video calls, etc.
My guy goo from saying he doesn’t want to tell countries how their people are getting around bans to telling countries how their people are getting around bans.
Those who control the servers control your communication, period!
I just wish this guy would tell me Any news organization that's solid and gets the facts right before they go on air. The battle is first to print and that's dangerous
There should be no encryption but also no right to use peoples' data.
Very true, tight security is lacking. How can a single number be interchanging owners at will illegally.
I like whats App thank you .
Amazing guy! Doing this for freedom is quite important
Protect this man at all costs!
Joe Tidy is that a real name
His passion for privacy came from How much he would get paid 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lets talk about how cluttered and shiyt the UI is getting?
Good 👍
Your prof
This reporter is trying very hard to put china in every question 😂😂😂
They isolate themselves from you because we win so they don't like us but we love them 😅
I like the news
I quit Facebook since I need WhatsApp more 😂. Believing that it helps.
How do I unhack my FB account
He just said “Liberal government is authoritarian” under his breath
Whatsapp is owned by meta, thus mark suckerberg, the app collects users data and sells it to the highest bidder, so it is not secure, nor is it free or open.
What the freak is Democracy? I’m confused….
It's not a government for lazy people. Since January 20, 1953, neocons have been chewing away the "people" aspect of our democracy and now it's all about "Corporations".
I know a person who has had almost 100 accounts on Google
Is it illegal?
China sucks
A lot of misinformation is spread on WhatsApp like other social media and communications platforms unfortunately
"Don't ban Whatsapp but ban Tiktok for safety!" ... What a META puppet.
He said scrutinize, not ban. Words have meaning, whether you understand them or not.
@@Ausf so you took none phrase and ran with it... did you not watch the whole video? it's not that hard to pay attention.
@@Ausf Whatsapp was amazing and truly encrypted until META. it's not that hard to understand.
@@LeeirahBrashka They didn't say not to ban WA, nor did they say to ban TT. WA is banned in some countries, but is still used there. Anyway, no one will read this, so who cares, right? Have fun with your rant.
@@Ausfwell of course I will have fun, this is the internet.
I had a hacking case last year and after analysing all possibilities, whatsapp for me was most probably the means of spying. You would never think that your own contacts or work contacts want to spy on you. I may be wrong but after that I bought a new phone and use the old one for what'sapp and block all mics. Phone spying is real...
This guy's sole argument is that authoritarian governments monitor their citizens' communications. However, it is well known that in the US, the NSA and other govt agencies monitor its citizens' communications. Is he saying that the US is an authoritarian govt, or that it's fine if the US does it?
I like
This questioner is a disappointment...
👏
Quit and start an Encrochat competitor
