  • The Florida Panthers have just won their franchise's first Stanley Cup, after years of being among the top contenders in the league. Florida's success can be attributed to the excellent work of their management, consistently and constantly adapting to what they felt would work best for them. Florida built one of the league's best playoff cores, and it was enough to take them all the way to their ultimate goal this season. Today, we look at how Florida built their championship team, and how the players contributed to their success when it mattered most.

I think last year's Panthers team was ready to win, and would have if not for their injury woes. However, I'm not a fan of this being used as an excuse for loss. It is a part of the game and always will be.

Not for nothing but every player in the league is injured at this point in the season. Hockey 🏒 is a rough sport and play 82 games plus playoffs so lots of injuries happen.

they got lucky at the right time with the right trades, some of those players picked up were not performing well and they just picked up, it takes so much luck and timing to get it right to win and panthers pulled it off this year, so its gratz to them. I personally don't think they make the finals next year, not because of talent, but having things go well enough for 3 years to make the finals in a row the odds are super low.

That’s called identifying talent and recognizing it’s not working somewhere else but could work within your organization.
Luck sure is a factor in all sports but I believe you work for your breaks. It takes mainly a lot of work and belief.
They didn’t make finals 3 years in a row. But they did go back to back years. With a short offseason, I would also be surprised if they made it back. They’ve played a ton of grueling hockey in the last two years. Regardless, I’m super super happy for the fans down here.
