While the Van is still in the building process, I've decided to convert my daily driver into a temporary car camper so I will be able to do some winter camping locally. The design is built to accommodate a full length sleep platform and other features while maintaining a modular design that is easy to remove. Know I'm still working on the Van Build and hopefully it will be done sooner rater then later.

Looks like a tight squeeze because of the cross bar and the thick mattress. Can you actually lie through that middle gap comfortably?
I took it camping to test it and the crossbar is where my thighs are its pretty comfortable, but when switching positions my legs did hit the crossbar. So now I'm making the headpiece longer so the crossbar would align with my knees so I could move freely.
Would you happen to have dimensions for the bench you could share?
What carpet material did you use to cover the wood?
I wish I was more handy, I don’t have any tools or anything to work with wood and get a good frame in my car
How much do you charge? I need assistance with converting my Nissan Altima to a car camper.
