ashton i always thought gas barrels were evil . you have changed my ming ty #adoptagasbarrel
ASHTON TELL ME WHAT THE SONG AT 2:38 IS I NEED IT NOW
Ashton tingle me
Im a Valk main but I'll adopt a gasbarrel
Can't believe the biggest most popular stereotype wasn't in there, wraith landing solo, dying and leaving before anyone else has even loaded into the game
As a wraith main, I take no offense to this.
So true😂
Just gotta bring the Green Storm
czcams.com/video/qdxEIog2m7g/video.html
Hmmm now i understand thats totally me but i solo q without tm8 i dont wanna ruin his game
Thats octane
7:42 "all aim, no brain" continues to ignore the light mag laying infront of him.
i cannot tell you how annoyed i was watching that happen
Well he did say ''no brain''
Twice even
For the lifeline and bloodhound aspect that they attract new players the fact that they are free at the start of the game plays a huge role in it
Bloodhound was my first main
You forgot the unwritten rule with Bloodhound
If you get scanned by another one of your fellow Bloodhound players, you must, and I'm completely seriously, MUST scan back, no matter what.
This is the way
agreed
It's cause if you get scanned you know there's another team to I have to find them too.
Fr
YES
This was so funny, the lifeline and octanes stereotypes are so accurate.
Yh
I guess you are bloodhound guy, controller player.Every stereotype is here correct .
I'm a lifeline main but I'm not a noob. I'm actually pretty good. I found the stereotype funny and accurate for most people though.
I love octane 😂
I’m a octane user but I use my brain and I’m not new 😭
The part about Caustic mains and long hair made me almost die of laughter. I can't show my husband this video, he's bald 💀 But the dark humor and gas trap upon landing is SO ACCURATE 💕
Why wouldn't you? I can land almost any building and have up to 3 doors pinned closed while I loot it. It's essentially MY building unless I decide to let you in or you're brave enough to kick in a trapped door. Even Watson fences can't physically barricade a door closed, and Rampart walls don't do damage, nor give you an HP tick indicator, which acts as a rough scan. His kit really is OP on closed quarters hotdrops
Is his name tim
Now I imagine a team of Rev + Fuse + Caustic.
And it's just a bunch of dads who play Apex together after they come home from work. There is the one with the dark sense of humor, the metalhead, and the chill dad.
Real
As a houndie main I can say that this stereotype isn’t exactly true to me but I do see noob hounds who look absolutely clueless
this is me when i first booted up the game
It’s the newbies that are clueless. Bloodhounds with a plan can be dangerous like wraiths and basic wall jumping.
@@cedrickpalad8520 same bro
Fr tho, many people think playing bloodhound is easy because u just need to scan around, but it's way more complex. I always see newbies just spamming his ulti everywhere cuz they wanna be fast 💀
he was right by the controller part
As a Caustic, I can confirm that you must constantly sing Erika while playing for maximum effect.
mmmmmm, breathe it in
Starting to sound like some german guy in the 1900s
Me too dude
@@thetaikasaapas6318 Time to Hitler this place up.
Agreed. I play caustic and I love the damn pk, I accept this stereotype.
As a child, I can 100% guarantee that we all play Octane like that. If you see us on 1 health, no, there is no enemies. Its just the stim
lmao true
Im child and octane main
same lol, tho I'm not an octane main at least *yet*, but I can think that'll be me too and really want to unlock him for my first unlock. Also a child
LOL😂
I’ve been looking for someone I can watch play apex on CZcams and be satisfied. Thank you Ashton for being that CZcamsr 😊
You're so funny, love your content! been playing Apex for about a month i'm really obsessed
I think it is because lifeline is the tutorial character. So new comers learnt her kit already and want somwthing they kind of know. Also if one is new, picking a safe healer seems logical. Even if they are 99% clueless and can't shoot, the thinking is they can still help(?)
I did that 😭😭, but I still main her. Now she’s like the only character I’m good at st 😅😅
@@gloriasolis1814 me too lol
when i started 3 months ago, i played lifeline for like a whole month until i started to try other characters. now i mainly use Loba. (because i dont like looking for loot) lol
@@gloriasolis1814 i still use Lifeline mainly in Arena, her drone rez is very very powerful
i’d rather have a bot blood than a bot lifeline. blood gets way more value even if the player is ass and constantly gets downed/killed. i’ll be having the extra info for a gunfight over heals
@@sunso1991 lifeline is meta in arena for that exact reason. newcastle is putting on a show in the higher up ranks in arena. right now i’m gold and the most common 3 stacks i see are gibby horizon lifeline
the reason why you see a lot of new lifelines is because when you join for the first time you’re force to be lifeline and i guess they just dont realize they can change characters
Browua
I never did the firing range because I joined a friend and just picked pathfinder because he was a robot :D
@xXLil_ShadowyXx not everyone plays games dummy
@Alexander Nikolov I don't understand why bad players play in general like why play a game if you literally cant kill anyone, how is that fun to them lol
When I first joined I was given wraith
I didn’t even get the tutorial but my friends helped me out on the basics and taught me about the other legends lol
Lmfaoooo I’ve never laughed so hard until you gthe Octane part 🤣😭😭 1000% facts!
As a Caustic main I can confirm that literally EVERY Stereotype is true
the reason I tried playing lifeline a lot when I was new to Apex Legends was because I just wanted to be useful to my team. I knew I would die easily because I'm new but I wanted to do the support role, thinking it would be the best thing for helping.
Yeah same here. Before i understood the basic mechanics and started getting better in actual combat, I would main lifeline so at the most I could heal them so they could do the fighting. I think a lot of people think this way.
same
That's basically the best move for ability-centered shooters if you're new and don't want to completely ruin someone's game lol
Had this mindset but its pointless when your teammates push by themselves and die far from you. No use when your teammates are selfish
Sameee
I actually like Lifeline, I always used Lifeline when I started playing Apex like 2 years ago but later I started using other legends, especially Octane and Seer. Now I'm a Valkyrie main but if one of the randommates picks her first I often use Lifeline, and I also got most of my wins with Lifeline!
Lifeline is trash, only sup that is actually good is Gibby.
@@lucasaugusto2338 I don't like Gibby and the main reason I use Lifeline is my legendary skin i got lmao
@@eliasYSL lollll
As a solo quer I loved playing lifeline but when she was reworked I switch to wattson/Loba
Same thing for me but rampart instead
I'm a bloodhound main and mostly my main gets taken by a level 5 who proceeds to shoot everything except a player which gets really annoying after a time knowing I could have saved the team with my main
I literally only mained Bloodhound because they looked the coolest. Over time I got used to them so I kept them as my main.
As a Caustic main. You've nailed me perfectly. Long hair. Weird sense of humor. Sick enjoyment in trapping a team into a building and watching them go through the 7 stages of grief in 13 seconds while my team shoots at nearby rocks in confusion of whats going on. All of it.
There's just some form of enjoyment in seeing a damage tick and knowing you're annoying some random squad.
You forgot how ratty y'all are. Istg I was playing mobile the other day and found a Caustic sitting in a corner in Skyhook. Why was I in Skyhook? I have no idea. Next game I land Capital and THE SAME THING HAPPENED-. I hop on my PS4 to play Arenas bc mobile doesn't have CAR and I literally found another Caustic sitting in the corner of the waterfall on Habitat. Keep in mind I'm playing Bloodhound the whole time I'm playing (Pathfinder main tho). Caustic mains literally just pick people off with their 301-Sentinel loadout.
@@axelmartin9787 Excuse me I use Wingman Charge Rifle tyvm.
@@Meowthix Sorry but same difference really.
@@axelmartin9787 How is that similar to a 301-sentinel at all. The 301 at least you have to try and control recoil. Wingman-Charge I just need to click and pew pew.
Besides, I play ranked only. IDGAF about pubs and increasing some KDA nobody will ever see nor care about. As far as i'm concerned I play the game as intended by devs, not how it's percieved to be played like most of you casuals.
@@Meowthix I respect that, I really do. I'm one of the lower skilled players so I don't do very well in ranked. And my comment was that Wingman does high damage from accuracy. 301 has that same aspect, just less rewarding and less skill needed. Charge basically announces to someone that they're being sniped, but if they don't dodge it they get shot pretty hard. Sentinel is less rewarding, especially when not charged, but still does decent damage and you find mags all over the map. Personally I run Pathfinder and r99-301 with an aggressive playstyle. I play more mobile because I don't always have access to my PS4 and I'm definitely better at that. Please understand there's no hostility towards you at all here.
I am a 17 year old kid playing revenant while listening to imagine dragons, but I loved your revenant stereotype, and we definitely use our ult whay to early
Yes we do. Yes we do
Either that or we place it no where near our teammates/they don't use it
@@hugetapewormBIG and we trash talk when a bot teammate picks revenant
The rev send from too far away because they made e totem last for 5 seconds less :(. And I’m 16 and love playing rev!
@gemcko my team mates never take my totem idk why even when I do it in front of their eyes
ashton make me tingle down there:)
“Lifeline seems to attract all the new players” me in the corner sweating because I’ve been playing her since preseason because her kit was simple but now I’ve dedicated too much time to her
I've become a Valkyrie main lately and I'd say a stereotype I see on many Valks is they'll jetpack everywhere, go really high to shoot their tactical and then get their shields cracked in mid-air (if not downed). Also, the classic TTV Wraith needs its own segment.
As a partial Valk main, I can attest to this 😅
The fact that u said TTV WRAITH... I know what u mean 🥴😭😭😭😭
True. Walking is far too civilized, and God forbid I have to climb anything.
I am an Octane main, since season 1. And you are spot on with 90% of the Octanes that pick him in my games. I get embarrassed watching other people play Octane lol.
Cant wait for that whole episode on wraith mains
as a former bloodhound main, that description was personal. every single detail was correct(except for the “all aim” because i’m no aim no brain)
I cannot believe how accurate the caustic one is, from guessing hair length and sense of humor. Props to you man.
I love playing lifeline for the ressing and healing :(. Glad you’re posting more recently though, keep up the amazing work!
Ashton make me tingle
Honestly just got back after season 8 i got a new main vantage is proper fun also ashton make me tingle
I cant wait to see the whole wraith "Thinks they're better, always full sending thinking they're gods amongst men, and leaving the millisecond we get downed"
Yh that’s completely true
Too many players forget that wraith is actually in-game-leader. Putting damage first in and q ing away and let the team finish off the fight. Picking whaw way to rotate because wraith got the portal. People just dont play as a team no matter who they are playing.
@@WilzerZ too many players forget that even if you pick wraith that doesn't make them neither a good player neither a good IGL
The best IGL i've got (with randoms) were most of the time a Pathy, Horizon or Bloody, not once a wraith or octane ☠️
@@ballsinyurjaws9809 It depends, I always consider myself an Igl when playing wraith or octane, since I can get my team somewhere we need to go with my ultimate.
@@WilzerZ imo it depends if you are playing with a team or not, most of the times my IGL is my friend with wraith, but i know he is good and i can trust him with his decisions, other times i'm the IGL especially if i'm using bloody/ash/valk, our support usually follows us and is the one who has our backs
Playing with randoms is a whole other story tho, if i'm with two randoms then i just follow the dude who has the best idea, if i'm with a friend and a random wraith who wants to hot drop in fragment, i will still follow and stick with my friend honestly lmfao
I'm a rev main, and only one of the stereo types is right, partnered by an Octane
I never play the game but stereotypes videos are always fun to watch 😅
While I actually gravitate towards the nearest assault rifle (or Devo) the rest of the Caustic stereotypes were spoopily accurate tbh. I do INDEED hide within gas barrels and take sadistic glee in how I'm pissing people off.
Ashton: Rev mains having heavy metal in the background.
Me: or their younger sister(s) screaming in the background.
Ashton make me tingle👹
I agree with the rev metal music. But it's more than often the team mates who want the totem placed too far away for it to be useful
Saiyoji is such a kind person, i met him in Trios and we placed 2nd because a nasty rat 3rd party. And btw , really funny and good video💪🏽
LOL the rev music part yeah true
As a lifeline main that always deploys my health drone for my teammate, whenever someone takes lifeline, they do exactly what is in this video
You are right for the caustic 😂 i enjoy watching enemies slowly dieing in my gas
Same i am also a caustic main
Dying*
As a caustic main, I can confirm this is true.
As a Revenant main who likes classical music and who is not 30, I can confirm this is accurate.
Can't wait for part 2
As a Caustic the joy I receive when I take 15 health off a person and they have to leave to go pop a syringe is immeasurable.
I’m ready for revenant to be bullied as always lmao
I recently picked up caustic and have been enjoying him and this is 100% me wtf. I have long hair as well as an extreme enjoyment at the idea of being annoying to enemies. I play ness in smash bros for the same reason
The reason lifeline attracts noobs is because she's the tutorial character
I think the reason new players like lifeline is bc she’s in the tutorial, I also used to play with a rev main who had a kid and was like 40
Almost got me with the rev one haha. I am a rev main and when I am playing solo queue I completely blast my ears with death metal. BUT I am not 30 nor a man hahaha
I was this close🤏
im 17 and i use him because i got a cool skin for him
Dangit Ashton, you described me as a Pathfinder main with that Caustic stereotype. Now you have almost persuaded me to switch to Caustic SMH #AdoptAGasBarrel
I feel attacked by that Caustic description, it was way too precise lmao 😭
As a caustic main, yes we have long hair and enjoy watching people desperate inside the gas lol
yes I can confirm that😂
Bru wraiths passive works best when u are flying out of the drop ship
The start got me in pieces. I love this vid keep it up, also we have the same name! Pretty cool
My friend actually mains rev and I’ve asked him before and he actually listens to classical music. Maybe he’s an outlier
I’m an Octane main and this made me laugh. Cheers! 🥂
La única razón por la que vale ser Main Caustic es por su pasiva y tapar puertas para poder revivir a nuestros aliados, la verdad eso puede definir entre la victoria y la derrota
Yes
i cant wait to see what you have to say about the others, namely:
rampart
crypto
valkyrie
Im a crypto main, and im scared
@@Colson-nl3bs Crypto is the best
Are we going to ignore the fact that all octanes devour your loot faster than they stim for no reason
They would literally stim just to get loot lol, but its different of were with enemy team but ur stiming to get loot before ur teammates grab it
Pathfinder mains are always nice
As a main fusey i say: i'm not a Person, i am a Bomb
The fact that he described me as a rev main is legendary… you got a new sub
naturally the reason why i use octane alot is the passive and his abilities its just fun to use and movement is what i love
Asgton tgis was so Hilarious omg im literaly dying lol🤣
Ashton you better make me tingle :)
ashton made me tingle
0:40 You missed the best opportunity to put ShivFPSs' clip of him screaming "LIFELINE, REZ ME!"
unbelieveably accurate. when i first started playing i mained lifeline then bloodhound
Ashton make me tingel
The rev stereotype os so accurate with me and my friend, we are always listening to bands like slip knot when playing him, not even intentionally, it just happens
I play Caustic so much, I naturally throw out whatever my character uses.. so when I play as Lifeline, I throw the enemy a healing bot :/
Ashton make me tingle👀
As a gas daddy main, you got it spot on, I have long hair, a very dark sense of humor, I like to sometimes land in that particular building and I find satisfaction in trapping people and watching as they slowly corrode away into nothing but loot boxes that they generously left me to loot
1:56 "Pocket Lifeline" 🤣🤣🤣
4:20 what 🫥
Life line bloodhound and the octane stereotypes are spot on
Just subbed I’ve loved these videos
ashton make me tingle
As a caustic main this is completely true😂 the sense of euphoria from gassing people to death is to good
1:15 this is sooo accurate when i started playing apex last year i just played lifeline becuase i thought the healing would be op lol now its my least used legend
1:10 if you are wondering why lifeline is the goto for new players, I can tell you, as a recently new player, when I first booted up the game, I went to the "training" mode and lifeline was the legend that wad used to teach me the ropes of the game, so I used her. Until I realized that I only played her for her care package and loba does a better job of that so now I main her
As someone who started playing apex when I was about 9 or 10 (I'm 12.5 now) I can confirm I always used to play as either octane or lifeline (specifically octane cuz I wanted to go zoom) now I'm kinda of a caustic main but I am also going through an identity crisis because I'm not sure which main I am now
7:38 lol me right there, a Bloodhound main who's on xbox, but I got a 2k damage badge so I'm at least decent
As a Caustic main, I have to say I cannot argue with any of your points!!! Nothing brings me quite the same joy as gassing my enemies.
The octane mic thing is so true every time they sound like that
I'm a caustic Main and I agree with everything except where to drop and shotguns I'm more of a car or prowler SMG with a secondary sniper. And my traps are only used to block doors and to cover my escape as I run away
This is my first time seeing this channel and as soon as I heard the first line that he said I instantly subscribed because it was so true.
Can’t agree more with that octane 😂😂
As a lifeline main, I totally agree that it just draws attention to new players and whenever ANYONE picks lifeline before I can they always like level 50 with 15 kills and like 5000 damage
5:02 that picture made me cry
6:44 okay, I was a rev main (rip the REV ) and now I am a caustic and octane main and lemme tell ya... I love heavy metal!
Ashton, make me tingle
Octanes have something I like to call Stim-brain. Either they over stim to push and have half health before even getting shot at, stim to loot before a teammate gets a good item, or in general just push hard because they think they won't die before stimming away.
Oh and there are the ones that use syringes to heal absolutely nothing when they're passive will do it in two seconds. Watched one use a syringe and his passive haired him before it finished and he still let it go through
As a person who mains revenant, I can say I do blast doom music in my ears every once and a while, while playing the game, and my buddy is already an octane main so I guessssss we do kinda fit into that-
As a revenant main this seasons nerf really hurt his totem time was already too short
Bro as soon as you said "9 times outta ten ocataines sound like this.." I hit the sub button. 😂😉
7:43 - I can confirm this statement.
I mained caustic and you described me perfectly without the long hair part
