    Im a Kiwi living in northern Spain. Valencia IS lovely but, believe me, there are many lovely cities and towns, on the coast and inland, where building a wonderful life is not difficult to do.

    I recommend for your telecommunications, DIGI, 3€ or 5€ for mobile flat rate with free roaming all over Europe and other places, and 15€ for the fiber internet, your total fee can be 23 - 25 €. Some other local companies have offers very similar in price, but this is the cheaper one. For non-covered destinations in free roaming, then the eSim is convenient.

    Keep in mind that the more people come to Spain, the higher the rental prices will be. It is advisable to own or rent a motorhome. I think it is more profitable and you can go to many places without worrying about renting a flat. There are people who are doing it. Regards.

    Great video and the most realistic expat cost of living! We are moving to Valencia next June for about 2 years. We bought an apartment in the arracapins area and my son will be attending private British school in Valencia. I estimated $5500 for the 3 of us per month. See you in Valencia next year !

    These kind of videos do not help us the locals, with a rent market that is already out of any sense. You can come here, promote to make the houses buying and renting prices to pump up, while you get american salary and we cannot even go to work to the US. What a shame, what a shit.

      Another reason to move to other EU countries with higher salaries like France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, and many more.
      Foreign nationals can only stay and travel for 90 days unless you secure a golden visa, digital nomad, etc.

    • @RobandTali
      @RobandTali  Před 12 dny +1

      We like the heat so it's not intolerable for us but you can get days in July and August reaching high 30 degrees (Celcius) in the afternoon. We usually avoided being outside for a few hours on those days and then the evenings are lovely and warm.
