I can definitely relate to that! It’s hard to be a beauty lover. You could always do what I did and just keep your inventory numbers in the back of a drawer so no one will see them 😅 (at least until I decided to post them on CZcams haha). Thanks for subscribing!

I love that idea of using hairspray for your eyebrows! I never thought of that! I need something to keep my eyebrows in place but I really don't want to buy a brow gel, so this is a great idea that I'll have to try! Thank you!
I wish I started an inventory long time ago, cause I really struggle at some point with buying so much and that was because I was not keeping track of what I actually had or use.
Just curious, why do you think your collection needs to be SO much smaller than what you have? Did something in life change significantly? Do you just not like makeup anymore?
Good question! I was actually thinking about doing a video on this. I love makeup, but definitely got swept up in beauty youtube purchasing during the pandemic (lots of comfort spending). I don’t enjoy having more than I can comfortably use before it goes bad and also don’t love the decision fatigue that can come with a bigger collection. I’ve had 3 kids in the past five years, which I’m sure influences my desire to simplify 😅 Those goals I listed are definitely years away, but I just like to keep them in mind to help inform my purchasing decisions.
@tinyblackbird so funny, I have had 4 kids in the last 6 years (youngest is 6 weeks) and with each kid I wear MORE makeup. My husband does kid breakfast while I get ready as my me time, so I add as many steps as possible 😅 would still enjoy a video from you on the topic though :)
Haha that’s amazing! It’s so individual isn’t it. I am definitely on board with dad’s doing kid breakfast 😂 We have a similar routine at our house and it just makes a world of difference to have that little bit of quiet (before the chaos). Congratulations on your new little one!
