Have to hard disagree. harmonizing with background vocals makes so many songs. they're basically a whole other instrument. the inclusion of the background vocals is part of what sets this channel apart from all of the other channels
@@Spirelord122 Disagreed right back, the backup vocals keep you locked to the original riff, not allowing any stray or swing from it. Plus the accent on the vocals sounds off as well.
@@SuperlativeElectric hate to come off as combative but you should probably get your ears checked if the original backup vocals sound off. that, or you're not harmonizing properly and you notice it more
@@Spirelord122 no ear check required, the vocals are processed too thin and have a modulated or chorused effect to them, which makes singing over them difficult. Thus the reason back up vocals are recorded AFTER the main vocal. Backups are fine, but having a main vocal sitting in the back taking up tempo and tone has an undesirable effect. It is what it is, something for everybody.
