For everyone thinking the arrangement was stolen, this was Bonds arrangement from Reed when he was the director before Katrina. If anything TxSU stole the song. This was clearly something for the New Orleans band heads. Most wouldn't understand, which explains why ppl keep hating.
jeffrey mosby if you don't know, where did majority of New Orleans hs band seniors go to after Katrina? Texas Southern! So of course you will hear New Orleans tunes from them. Dont be mad because TXSU did it better!
Actually, Clarence Gibson came down to New Orleans in the summer of 2004 to pass this arrangement out to & teach it to Sarah T. Reed HS (where Miguel Bonds was the director at the time)

If you know bonds. You’ll know he played this at his high school. Way back in the early 2000’s
Nobody stole anything, Clarence Gibson wrote the arrangement in the early 2000s which he gave to Bonds when he was Reed in New Orleans. So technically it's Txsu's but it doesn't matter it's a song. Anyone can play anything but the ending of Degas is revised..
