- We head out again in the tiny speedboat, this time leaving Dunbar in Scotland and heading home in the direction of England and where we started many moons ago. Joining me on this episode is one half of the fishermen Speedboaters we met in the Firth of Forth: / rooster_boys_boating
We have lunch in Berwick-upon-Tweed before we drop in on Lindisfarne for a look at the priory and castle. After a good nights sleep camping in the dunes we weave our way through the tiny Farne Islands and towards Newcastle and the river Tyne.
A very big thanks to Norman for spotting us on the AIS and offering to be the honorary support team.
The end doesn't feel like so far off now, but still plenty of sea miles to bounce our way through yet...

Lockdown robbed us of our freedom, and this series gave a part of it back, along with a restored sense (for me at least) national pride. You’ve showcased fabulous scenery, comedy, kindness, humanity, and created something amazing Harry, thank you and well done.

I have lived in England for 52 years, and after watching the entire playlist serveral times, realise I knew very little about my country of birth. These videos have been utterly facinating. Love ya Harry.

5 years is wild. Both my parents were alive 5 years ago, and in that time I’ve hit rock bottom and built myself back up again. Throughout the entire journey, I’ve been on this journey with you to! Absolutely love this content, and of course Harry! Gutted to have missed you in Northumberland!

I started watching this when i was first in hospital in 2019/20. I have been in and out of hospital for the past 4-5 years and I have followed Harry and his various crew members since he first started in London all those years ago. This is why CZcams is so special - I can’t wait for the next episode and also see what Harry does longer term!!

You really never disappoint. Connor was an excellent first mate, nice choice. I wouldn't hesitate to extend these a bit with historical bits and side stories, but I may be the only one who sits with google maps open following along and learning more about everything you mention.

Goodwin doesn’t look like an old RIB anymore Harry. She’s looking very smart with all that work done, you must be a very proud owner! I wish you all the best you must be nearing the end of this incredible adventure now especially with summer ending and winter quickly drawing in. I know it’s been said many times before in the comments of your videos but I think you should consider disclosing the date/eta of the last leg of your journey. I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we would love to welcome you back in to the Thames on our boats and I think with fan base you have built up since this journey began it could be a grand finish….even bigger than when Ellen MacArthur returned to Falmouth after her round the world voyage 😆 well done sir you deserve a knighthood for this 🫡

I have watched this Saga from the beginning and now you reached the place I was born, Berwick on Tweed. I have just celebrated my 72nd birthday last week. I have fond memeories of Berwick, fish and chips back then were an event and they were a real treat. The weekly shopping trips from Wooler to Berwick were an event for us small kids, it was a joyful time.I noticed the "Scotch pies", I hope you tried one, I always make sure to get one when I'm up there.

Connor was a great addition to your roster of adventure companions. Amazing scenery in Lindisfarne; I hope to visit it someday! Really great to see the Goodwin running so well these days. I'm already starting to dread the end of your series around the coast. :( Maybe after you finish this adventure you can do something else with Goodwin, like traveling up some of the rivers such as the Thames, Trent, Tweed.
Circumnavigation of Ireland would get my vote!!

Fantastic film.....I'm jealous man!!.....I was so lucky in my youth to live on the island of Guernsey and blapped about in speedboats, nothing flash, boating in Guernsey is as you can imagine is absolutely amazing....lots n lots folks have boats and the market is such that there's a boat for any on on any budget.....man do I miss those days,one day I'm going to do what you have done. Thanks for uploading.

Love this whole series. Still regret you skipped the Mersey and Merseyside! The Tyne, but not the Mersey. 😮 I know there's no doubling back at this point, but it would have been fabulous to get your unique coverage of the greatest UK port city. Maybe a side trip? It's kinda sad really.

I sold my boat at the start of the year as the kids are geowing up, the wife hated it and i just couldnt justify the cost while only getting 5 or 6 times usage per year. The start of rhis episode has made me regret it even more.
We have been ro Holy Island twice in the past 3 years. I think its my favourite place in the UK when the weather is nice 👌

Harrys' video to me are like an evening sitting in front of the blazing fire, wet happy dog at my feet and a single malt on the table next to me. I don't have fire a dog. Or the single malt. But you get the idea, beautifully done and just bloody great, relaxed entertainment, reminding me how lucky we are to live on this sceptred isle.
