4:22 see what people who didn't watch this live don't get, is that Tommy and Wilbur never gave Techno direction when Schlatt pressured him. its easy in hindsight to say "oh he was peer pressured" but at the time, he was simply called up onto stage while Tommy and Wilbur watched on, they didn't even message to intervene or offer another option, Techno HAD to because even his alliances WEREN'T helping, and that makes all the difference looking back, now.
Dude he was fully armed, I just don’t understand how can he be both ‘i’m fully armed with a weapon that one one shot every player in my facility but this man with no armor tells me to kill a kid with the whole crowd saying nothing in shock (Except one guy basically saying ‘do it no balls) guess got to do what he says oohh he so scary’ and ‘I’m willing to take around 20 players so I can destroy their homes because that same kid with 3 other guy (Uncharacteristically I must add) attack me.
@@dirtyrat886 We also didn't know at the time that he only has one canon life, which makes sense why he is always so careful with his life. Always being stacked and in full armor. But he didn't have the upper hand at that moment because Jschaltt had the power, he could have ordered his country to attack Techno, and they would have done it.
So how I see it; when Techno killed Tubbo(too pressured and didn't dare risk his life at that moment) and accidentally killed Quackity and Jchlatt. He learned the power he held with that weapon (he had never tested it before).
With the voices now craving blood and death(blood for the blood God), he turned around and created a blood bath. Probably a bit out of his mind after just experiencing his allies betraying him (like @DirtyRat said).
Before actually killing someone that day, he had no idea that his weapon was that powerful. He wasn't ready to fight a whole country alone because his allies never told him what was happening and never helped him out.
@@kunilsen2519 really so your saying that Technoblade brought a weapon that he had no idea on it capabilities in to the middle of enemy territory and I doubt that anyone would’ve attacked him and killed with everyone being confused and shock like deer in head light. Everyone except like 5 including Technoblade know how to fight with everyone else swinging their swords like two giraffes fighting.
And one thing. When was it that he had one life stated? Because that would’ve been important to know like as soon he join the Smp.
@@dirtyrat886 Well, yes. He had never tested the weapon so didn't know how powerful it was. He never expected to be brought up and told to kill someone he knows.
And don't forget that Techno is a character in the Dream SMP, and in character, he knows next to none of the people that was there. He doesn't know how good or bad they are at fighting because he as a character has never met or fought with them before.
And again, Techno was brought in late, pretty much a mystery except that he was an anarchist and was willing to help bring down the government. Slowly we have learned parts of his background story, like his long friendship with Philza, or that he has lived a very very long time. How many lives he has was relieved pretty newly, but we already knew Phil only has one canon life as well. So it's not like it is unheard of in the Dream SMP.
@@kunilsen2519 By that logic Tommy and Wilber had a good reason not to help him or Tuboo (not it was the reasonings, Wilber just let it happened for shit and giggles). One more thing where they chase down I can’t remember, if not How convenient!(for the plot). To me Techno just feels forced in, how did Wilber and Tommy get in contact, why did Wilber trust him when his mental state was weaker then glass, and why did slatt pick him to kill tuboo. Why not someone with a deeper connection like fundy or nikki. And that more think about it his action never had any true consequences like only one person he killed lost canon life.it just feels like a cop out. If everyone on l’manberg’s side during doomsday lost all but one canon life it make the revival book more valuable give dream more power.
12:22 The actual interaction was "I'm spawning a wither." The offer was "give me the weapons and I help you kill it, or deny me the weapons and I help it kill you."
To add the recent lore:
-were technoblade is from, people only have one life. During the festival, along with being peer pressed, he was scared of dying, permanently
-Tubbos entire vault and house was ransacked, his belongings all stolen
-In the beginning of the stream before he meets up with Tubbo, Techno shows genuine despair and grief over Ranboo’s death, later referring to him has his disciple
-Tubbo and Technoblade apologised to one another and settled their differences, allying for a similar goal
-Eret joined the duo in their hunt for Sam, who had Michel
-Eret reveals he had Micheal before Sam, and he was protecting him from George and Sapnap/Kinoko Kingdom
-Tubbo speed runs the 5 stages of grief all throughout the stream
-Eret apologizes for his betrayal and reveals (to Tubbo (kinda techno but tech didn’t care)) taht he only betrayed them in hopes it would bring peace. He feels guilt for his misdeeds and hopes to make it up to his old friends one day
-the trío (Revenge Trio or (The) RevengersTWT) find Sam, who at first refuses to give up
-they attack and disarm Sam, who then gives in a reveals he has Micheal in his hosue
-Technoblade and Eret let Tubbo decide what they do to Sam, he decides they let him rot in Pandoras Vault (Sam is suspicious and unhinged all throughout the stream, he has obviously lost his mind and is planning something)
-When they get to the vault, they retrieve Technos and Ranboo’s belongings. Along with a book signed “Do Not Read”
-They lock Sam in the vault and leave him there, having to break out of the prison because the keycards Renew after midnight.
-Tubbo is invited to stay at the commune in Ranboo’s old house, as to keep Micheal and his belongings safe
-When they deliver Micheal to the commune, they meet GhostBoo, who refuses his stuff back (they give him his memory book though, which the trio did not read)
Because I've heard so many people say it, I feel obligated to add:
Where Technoblade's from, _people_ only get one life. Is Technoblade really "people"? He is a pig, after all. And what's to say that he doesn't know a way to get more?
@@randomguy-tg7ok well I feel like he's from the nether because he is a piglin and piglins don't get 2 lives they breed and thats how they have their population piglins aren't that smart (technoblade of course being an exception) with that being said I'm not sure they have the technology to just get multiple lives

I rewatched this after his last stream and I've been thinking. Thet reason Tubbo was so quick to forgive him but still holds a grudge to Eret is, in my opinion, because he also put Techno's life in danger because of peer preasure.
Wilbur gave Tubbo the option of saying the word that would make the explosion go off, and he said it, knowing full well that his allies would die, because of peer pressure. And continued to put Techno's life in danger after that, and Techno still never blames him.
I think Techno's and Tubbo's relationship/dynamic is severely underrated.
They did bond over flowers.

@@So_Indecisive Wilbur's alignment chart was naked propaganda, like so much of what he has said about the Dream SMP.
I feel like it is overlooked that people treated Technoblade like a traitor even before the red festival and wilbur recking stuff.
If you listen to the monologue Quackity gives to Techno before their duel, he pretty much calls out everything that Techno hates/fears about government (and the execution without trial didn't exactly help matters).
Honestly I appreciate these videos so much, you have no idea how interesting these are. It’s like watching a documentary. Great job as always :)

Coming back to this now breaks my heart.
Well.... lets say he finally got what he wished for. No government. No mortal binds. He has gone to the kingdom of god to take on everything.

I think the red festival is so underlooked. Schlatt got techno good, because no matter what happened its bad:
1) do as he said killing tubbo, which is what techno choose, it just unintentionally also killed quackity and jschlatt, but that was unexpected on all ends so i will ignore that. Killing tubbo obviously bretays his alliance, but the alliance didn't tell him anything so he could only assume he was fine to do this.
2) if wilbur or tommy tried to intervene or signal him that would risk their cover being blown, which is obviously bad
3) if he attacked schlatt, then that would make people see him as the enemy of the country, which is probably the best option, but with only one life, and knowing all the people that were on the side of schlatt, its not a safe bet from technos perspective. Remember to us its pretty obvious people aren't that loyal to jschlatt, but to techno it appears he is far outnumbered, so taking a fight would be risky.
4) if he refuses to save tubbo then he will look bad, risking a fight which again he does not know if he can win, and jschlatt can always call up someone else, or do it himself, tubbo is completely unarmed here its not like he was gonna live.
I know these options aren't all mutually exclusive, but whatever my points still stand. What happened was both 1 and 3 which ended up pretty bad for him, I mean yeah he lived, but now everyone hates him or doesn't trust him. Pretty much the only person unaffected by this was Dream, as he wasn't attached to either side.

4:06 no, it was 2 shots. Without armour, a maxed out rocket can only do 9 hearts of damage, not 10. 18 points of damage is still impressive tho, but if you look back at the stream it took him a second shot for him to kill all 3.
They decide to test him, and he kills half of the butcher army. perfect.

A video about "How the animation community impacted the Dream SMP" :-)... Coz yall gotta admit, wen Sad-ist made that 1st Dream SMP animatic, Warriors, it lit a fire under Wilbur, Tommy, Tubbo and all other members, making all of em do more epic stuff and making Wilbur write more awesome stories that would look good in video form :-).... Just an idea

Also, it's interesting just how terrifying that organization is, even if nobody acknowledges it. First, the name. "Syndicate" tends to be used as a name for a band of villains capable and willing to end the world if they get the chance, and they've already demonstrated this. Techno and Philza unleashed Hell upon L'Manburg, but it was Niki that struck the final blow, burning the heart and soul of the nation.
Second, their skills. Techno is a pvp god, both solo and in a group, Philza is the architect, building entire worlds and knowing most of the mechanics of the world, which also means he's the one most capable of working through them and being the best survivor of them all. I don't know much about Ranboo, but I'm pretty sure he's the grinder of the SMP, spending at least as much time gathering resources as Techno. I don't know much about Niki either, but she seems to be a jack of all trades, having received training from both Techno and Philza, building an underground city, tearing it down, building a library, tearing _that_ down, and rebuilding the city, all on her own. Presumably, having managed to wound Techno during training, she's pretty good at pvp, too.
Finally, each of them have been known to be individually terrifying. "Do you feel tired, Quackity?" comes to mind, as well as his ability to slow-turn, which is creepy as hell. Philza is arguably the least terrifying, but he seems to have a somewhat chaotic nature and will _end_ any threat to his friends. Even Dream abandoned his chase of Tommy when they got to Phil. All the evidence I have for Niki and Ranboo is Fundy's aquarium stream, but that evidence speaks for itself. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" and Ranboo being Slenderman specifically. You can tell she's ready to eviscerate a fox and Ranboo *crashes Fundy's game* when he shows up.
In conclusion, the only way for the Syndicate to not achieve utter, complete victory is to be divided and have the entire server unite against them, like during the prison break.

original: 4:07 lies. Absolute lies. It took at least two shots to kill three unarmored men. He even hit Tubbo beforehand and he still had to shoot twice. The only reason he killed anyone in the crowd that day was because everyone was still in shock about him accidentally AOE killing Shlatt and Quackity, and the only people who died in his rapid fire barrage of the cluster of people in the crowd were those not wearing any actual armor and too slow to respond to the sudden assault

I like to think techno was so chill about the prison trick because it was almost like a vacation for him, a time to finally be guaranteed his peace. After all, it's not like there would be a need for the blade in a less than 10x10 room with only him and dream in it.
I think Ranboo is gonna play Micheal as a character one of these days, and Tubbo is gonna nuke the place to bits as a finale

Technoblade is my chosen “protagonist.” And from what I see is plenty of people see him as a purely villanos and traitorous character from the outside. He isn’t a wholey “good guy” in cannon, but when going with alignment he is verry Lawful and “evil” (has a strict “moral” code, and is out only for “him” and a select few)
Personally I find the Whole SMP to be almost entirely Villans, whoever’s POV determines the “protagonist” and “antagonists”. Either way verry we’ll put together lore summery. (:

Once there's enough streams to add onto the lore, will you make a part 2? There's been a stream since revealing that he probably has one life, and also character development, also some grinding/foreshadowing streams, but that's probably not enough to warrant a part 2 just yet.
definitely! and the same goes for the other lore videos of course - but it all depends how long each major event lasts. things have been slowing down over the last 9-ish months, so it’s hard to gauge when exactly it would be but it is a possibility for the future!

I feel like dream and techno look out for eachother because their goals are like, almost the same, but just opposed enough to keep eachother in check. Techno wants to get rid of governments so no one would have power over another, meanwhile dream wants to get rid of them to make sure he has the most control over everybody, stuff like that.

Here's another idea for an SMP superhero version of technoblade this specific smp universe has three branches first branch technoblade is magic wielding and he has the same powers that shero emra, then we have the second hero techno blade the superpower techno blade, and then the third technoblade be gadget batman-esque dark brooding ninja tecnoblade. These three universes might have to blead over towards the end of each of those versions of techno blade when you start to run out of ideas and it could be like some sort of multi-dimensional crisis thing on multiearths.
We can't have more lore now...
