Also, the minute you get everything that you gave at home, it’s not an unique place anymore. When I go to Venice or Sorrento I don’t expect to find certain things. Every place has its thing. Santo Domingo had literally everything. Take a trip once in awhile to the capital, to get out the small everimonent and to indulge in the things you like, specially food.

The privacy thing I’m with you. When I use to travel to DR when me and my brother hit the airport it was like a moto coach guy already told everyone we are back. Anything you did everyone was like how was so and so, I’m like really.
Anyways great video informative, the one thing that would annoy me was pan handling in the towns. The kids I did not mind as much as most of them would actually be hungry.

Those points always seem to come up in these dislike videos for most countries expats have moved to. None of those are issues for me though since it's expected. Still coming to check out Las Terrenas soon with the intent of relocating there in 2023.

Luna. First I would to state the we truly enjoy your videos. Thank you!
I just unsubscribed from Giamo Jackson becuase of the disrespectful immature thing that he did regarding this video. Vlogging is a matter of choice in the information that you give. I find what you say very useful.
As Vloggers I believe that you should support one another and perhaps voice your personal opinions privately.
His public attempt to dismantle everything you said was tacky, unprofessional and unnecessary.
It appears that he is going through something personal and found a target for his issue with you.
I commend you on ignoring his ignorance. Keep it moving as others will see your maturity and his lack there of.
I left a comment on his video before I unsubscribed.

Hope you can get a petition to the leaders of your city to get some Thai, Chinese and Indians to your City so you can get the variety spice of life food you've been craving. It's kind of odd not to have at least some Chinese, because Chinese Restaurants are usually everywhere. Tell them to make it urgent.

Most beach towns are small, Sosua, Cabarete, Boca Chica.....not just in the D.R, even in the UK where I live you have small villages, towns and everyone seems to know each other's business and gossip.... But as you confess to, being a CZcamsr doesn't help. Not to knock you, but I don't understand why people feel the need to share their lives with the whole world. Facebook is even worse...I don't have social media accounts except for business purposes. As for the food, if you want Chineses food then go to China - that was a joke.
