Those kiddos at the end responded the way I would probably respond to seeing your boxes and boxes of bees! Their heartfelt "thank you bees," was perfection!
It is great to see the results from all that work. You and Carie did an amazing job with the queens early on and it shows, those colonies are thriving. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Wow! That is an AWESOME amount of honey! I just inspected my hives yesterday... 2 are almost completely full. Time to take those supers off and give them another set... We are just ready to open Goldenrod flowers here! Thanks for sharing!
Its great to see that the kids are also humble to appreciate the effort that its put in in obtaining the end result. They are our future in this business and many more to come. Good job brother. Victor from miami florida 🐝🐝🐝

My hives sit along side 1 section of Canola and wow they are bringing it into the hive now full speed I need more hives there also plus some clover is 100 feet away
I find that giving people honey is a big upper. When you’ve done something for somebody else that is unique and special, it makes one feel like they have a reason to live.
Very nice with your kids. Also really smart of you and your family to go for the two way paycheck per crop. The crop as well as the honey which is produced. Phillip Hall
Your bee management and location are amazing. I am thrilled if I get 100 pounds from 1 hive. It seems you easily get way over 300 pounds per hive. Yep, the money will literally flow into the barrels.
@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog Yep and you have influenced me in many ways. in the past, I didn't feed as much. Once the bees could get pollen and nectar I stopped feeding. Now, I continue to feed pollen patties. I have noticed a difference.
Да. Живу в России в Краснодарском крае. А токой высокой кукурузы не разу не видел. Тепла у нас валом, а дождей наверное не хватает для такого результата.
I've been following your videos for a bit now just wanted to say its awesome to see the day 2 day of commercial beekeeping. Do you run single brood box in all your hives?
What pest controls do u used? How many kinds of pesticides you used per season and do you alternate them? How many times a yr? I am trying to own my first personal hive here in my country.
Yesterday I brought the two hives from the farm... Took alot of effort missed the celebration of breaking fast of ramadan with family...reached home with great enthusiasm..but to my surprise my father rebuked me and said resell them to someone... could not sleep ... In the morning called my uncle with the request to kindly take them...now I m a bit relieved...here is my story.
Just the pollen. Corn doesn't produce nector. So there is no such thing as corn Honey. But corn pollen is often used with available nector stores to create bee bread and feed brood with it.
the fact that the kid was that persistent with putting his finger in the barrel leads me to believe that's probably not abnormal activity off camera... Only joking of course! Great video, very cool to see how it goes from hive to home!
Can you comment on the beneficial impact of the bees on your canola harvest? I.e. how much bigger is your canola harvest with your bees than it would be e without them?
Great video, I find it insane how much honey your bees produced from canola. Quick question. How much does honey production get affected if the bees have to build the comb new from scratch? With my bees in Kansas, they build new comb about 2 deep frames a week. I am only a 2nd year bee keeper so i don't have a lot of comb saved up.
How many hours of sunlight are you getting a day? I'm asking this because my wife and I just returned from our vacation in Alaska and the amount of daylight was amazing. Your added daylight also allows for longer foraging time. I'm amazed at the amount of honey you are producing and I'm pretty sure you're getting a lot of extra daylight. Congratulations on an excellent crop.
May I know the name of the plants with yellow looks beside corn . Is that planted purposely for bees and are their tutorials for bees keeping you can share including hives making thanks.
Hi I have gone through you videos and you have it all sorted out. I have approximately 150 production hives and learnt some tricks from you. I am leaving assembled hives throughout winter 3 x 10 frames and I kind of overfeed them. From that I gain some extra strength and no need to feed during spring. My question is: Would you move to two brood chambers for overwontering if you had bigger storage, truck and bigger logistics possibilities?

Great family, they seem really grounded.
It must be great to have knowledge/ influence on the crop cycle
I REALLY miss seeing bees on canola. Amazing how quick they can work
The little girl nailed it “that’s COOL”!!!
Crazy Bees!! 4 Honeyrooms? Never Seen that in Germany! Great work!
The kids saying thank you bees. Gotta love it.
That field of canola is so beautiful! What a brilliant yellow color! What an incredible place to get to spend your time as bees or as people!

Damn, you have those stacked 7 tall! Looks like you have that beekeeping down to a science. 💪
God bless you, your famely and your bees,,
Nicely done, hard work as always (I’m beekeeper in California)
Love the motorized grab for lifting the supers off. Don't think I could justify it for just five colonies though. :)

Wow! Great season!

I can't follow how you go from uncapping to full frame extraction. Do you rip all the comb off the frames or do you uncap and spin the frames?

In 5:22 What material you use over the frames?
Holy molly, I'm happy with 1 super this sulmer. No spring honey in France this year...
Not in the Czech Republic either, but this year looks good!
Ian, did you put that new capping extruder on line in the honey house that you bought? how about doing a video on it in your honey house.
Charles Thomas
Yes it works great
I see the frames contain uncapped honey. Are you drying the honey after or just let it ferment later in customer jars?
Very nice videos.....i'm beekeeper from Greece
Do you keep the canola seeds to use for thenext season, or do you buy seed every year?
thank you bee
Have you ever grown other crops for bees beside the canola?
Great job ,What kinda of this plant ?
Hello! After installing the bee escape, how many hours do you need to wait to remove the honey supers?
wow.. amazing
