Been doing this for years but didn't think to use the wig band. I simply use a 99 cent stretch headband. This have saved me a many of days! You look fabulous!
This is cute, but a much quicker and easier solution to get this same look is to just put the locs on a big drawstring hair tie. Most locs have a loop on them to do this. The locs will be more secure than hot glue... A drawstring hair tie is big enough to go around your head and you can adjust the tension, and if you have a sensitive head, you can buy satin drawstring hair ties, so that'll be better for your edges. Hot glue, etc was a bit extra for this look, but you did a good job. Just want the ladies to know there's an easier, more secure solution. If you still want to do this your way, I'd recommend you stitch each loc into the band with some black thread because I wouldn't put too much faith in that hot glue. Over time, that glue might wear out and you lose locs at the wrong place and time.
🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️I swear it’s not enough ideas in the world lol I just came up with this idea instead just with actual braids I sell them but yours look nice❤
