    Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and inspiration. Being fairly new to the wreath DIY world, I have found your tutorials to be very easy to follow with great results. The information you shared on starting a wreath business was invaluable. Also, your recent tutorial on the new curl method brought many compliments (again thanks to you) which I greatly appreciated. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to many more inspirational jewels 😊

    This video answered ALL my questions as I’m a beginner. I unfortunately started off making a sunflower wreath for my mom’s 92nd birthday. Never having made one before. I very uneducatedly bought the Deco Poly mesh. What a nightmare for this beginner. But I fought it and pushed through and persevered. It turned out very pretty with the exception of constantly pulling off strings off of it just looking at it. You are right, it does have a mind of its own and it will let you know. You completely made sense with all the different kinds to where I feel comfortable now and am actually excited to create another one. Thank you for taking your time to explicitly explain each. JULIE THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL REGARDING DIFFERENT MESHES, IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND ENJOYED LEARNING MORE ABOOUT THE MESHES. I USED DECO MESH WAY BACK IN THE BEGINNING AND DIFFERENT UNDERSTAND WHY WHEN i CUT IT IT EASILY RAVELED, I STRAYED AWAY FROM IT AND I STARTED WITH THE 5.5" BURLAP AND USED SORT OF A RUFFLE WREATH AND STUCK WITH THAT AND COLORED BURLAP ONLY THE 5.5. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND TUTORIALS, YOU ARE A GREAT TEACHER. !!! GOD BLESS YOU ! 8/26/21

    Julie, this must be - know your mesh day. I’ve watched about four presentations and yours was, by far, the best I’ve seen so far. I make wreaths quite a bit and now finally understand the differences in how to cut or burn which mesh you are using. Also, the exact names of the different materials and the name of the material I prefer to use most. Thank you for doing this presentation. If this was a competition you have my vote. Your work is always beautifully done, and so neat one can tell how mindful you are that this is being sold to someone that appreciates your extra efforts.

    Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I got my order for poly burlap yesterday, today, I have cut out my leave/petals, and attached 1 so far. I had to stop and Thank You. The poly burlap is so much easier on the hands than the deco mesh, It covers better, it cuts better with the wood burner, and it just looks better than the deco mesh. Once I use up my deco mesh, I might not ever buy anything but the poly burlap again, I Love It. Once again, Thank you for sharing this info, and your time with all of us, as well as your talent.

    Thank You for sharing this with all of us. I really learned a lot from this video, like the fact that, although poly burlap is more expensive to buy than deco mesh, it's less expensive in the long run, because you use less of it. Also that fabric mesh, is also better than deco mesh. Its a case of, less expensive is not always better, because, you get what you pay for. I will definitely rethink what I buy, and make my wreaths out of. Once again, Thank You for sharing this, I really needed it.

    Thanks for explaining the differences, you could kinda see the denseness of the material was a difference too. It really helped when U showed the difference between deco and poly in your petal. The cove age just isn't the same, and poly easier to handle. I can't imagine a check deco mesh n how much it would unravel. Again thank it's a good video n I will prolly save n watch again for reference.🔎😁

    This is just what I have been trying to figure out. I just came across one of your wreath videos and have been binge watching lol. I picked up some 4 inch burlap from a dollar store to make a pull through wreath! But seems most of the other meshes I have to shop online, unfortunately. This video helps a lot seeing as I can't touch and feel all of the products at stores here. I was hoping you might have talked about the longevity of the products for outdoor use, and what products you have found success with for spraying them. I am a super crafty person but it takes me having to see something that I like to make me run out and spend money, so thanks for the inspiration I am going to be busy making next years Christmas gifts!

    • @JuliesWreathBoutique
      @JuliesWreathBoutique  Před 4 lety

      Poly burlap is probably my favorite to work with but with any product it depends on how much sun and weather gets to a wreath. I do like to spray mine with clear rustoleum matte acrylic spray. This will help with the fading but you should always test a piece of the material first.
