- The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the most important modern bike from Royal Enfield. It played a crucial role in helping the company stay afloat and avoided bankruptcy. Such has been its impact that it still remains the most popular Royal Enfield bike on sale in India. But when one thinks of Royal Enfield as a motorcycle brand, the first image that comes to mind is that of the Bullet 350. The Bullet is synonymous with Royal Enfield and holds the distinction of being the longest motorcycle in continuous production. A few month back we got the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350, a new motorcycle based on the J-platform and with this transition the UCE power plant ceased to exist. In this comparison video we find out which is the better classic Royal Enfield bike, the Bullet 350 or the Classic 350? Genesis or revival? This is a tale of a classic sibling rivalry.

everyone says that bullet is copy of classic. But the classic design came from bullet only. What were the differences before? The same.

Last year I bought a Halcyon Green Classic.
It got destroyed in a collision sadly but I held on after the insurance payout to get the Maroon Bullet.

Cool video! Let's face it, they are the same bike. It's the looks and the name that push me to the Bullet. Although I am worried about flat tyres, the Classic I would choose would be a spoke wheeled one too.
7:45 this j series is, though, acceptable in bullet but not the back mudguard which is made much shorter than old bullet.

When you really don't have anything to differentiate but you stollgot to do it. But it was a much needed review.
Think I will go with the Bullet
The Bullet seat feels hard initially but on a long haul the classic seat drops and is a pain in the ass to ride. Looks wise the classic is for suit wearing lawyers and the Bullet is for criminals and police. So choose your pick.

True they both are similar in technical specs. But they're both different.
Both are similar. Only difference is split seat with spring. Atleast this time the bullet doesnt have a slimmer back tyre

I'm from the USA, and I found out about the Bullet 350 on Enfield's website. The heritage angle is really well done, and very cool.
Harley Davidson has been selling their entry level 'Sportster' model for over sixty years for just that reason.
(My Dad still thinks it's a 'sport bike'! 🤣😂😍)

The Classic has slimmer mudguards, the Bullet ones are slightly flared and boxy ends.

Spokes look cool but will be a pain to fix a puncture. Alloys are more convenient but don't give that retro feel. Now that's what you have to decide what you seek convenience or visual appeal.

I bought a Bullet for the matte black motor and overall lack of chrome. Easier to maintain and retains the throwback look.
They’re basically the exact same bike since seat and handlebar can be easily changed later. Just go with the color way you like. I personally choose a black/silver Bullet cuz it’s the most basic looking and the cheapest one.
RE should have introduced the new J-Series with the Bullet 350.
The two and a half year absence broke the uninterrupted production run of the Bullet name.
They should have launched it along side the Classic and then introduce the Meteor and Hunter later.
The Bullet wasn't absent for 2½ years though, it was sold with UCE350 alongside all of J-series 350's.
Only recently did this make the switch to J-series.
Even now the old bullet is standing in the RE delivery Centers, still it is available. for those who booked it and not completed the process. every time i ask them they say it is booked and no more old bullets.....
Personally i prefer the Bullet although i own a Meteor and would not swap that for either.
You guys forgot to mention one big point. Classic dark series comes with tubeless tyres. Dragging a punctured bullet in the middle of road was something that made me sell my bullet es 350.

Both at the price point are awesome, Bullet is a Cult whilst Classic is very good commuter
One major difference is the back mudguard which makes classic look much better than bullet

Bullet is better then all in terms of Comfortable. I own a Maroon bullet. but for high way ride in indian conditions people love Hunter. hunter is same engine but you can reach 130 Kmph. but bullet is more Stable then Hunter. Never Think about Classic😇

I have no attachment to the history of the RE motorcycles. I have sat on all of the RE 350 models available in the USA. I find the seated position of the Bullet the most comfortable. I thought that I would prefer the Meteor. I like the appearance of the Classic the most. My purchase would be the Bullet. The reason is because the hadlebars are taller. If there were replacement bars that were two or three inches taller that would fit on the Classic, I might prefer the Classic.

The Classic has rear disk breaks and the Bullet has a drum rear break. I had the 500cc bullet and it came with a kick start, and what a way to start your ride, kick starting a bike, it did have a electric start but most of the time I used the kick start, just brought back a lot of old memories. If they came out with a 500 cc with a kick start, I would have one, even it they put a kick start on the 350 would make it more tempting, I also like the heal toe shifter, they should at least have it as a option. itching for a new bike and want a single just something about a single cylinder with a kick start.

Classic is bigger son which resembled some DNA from bullet
Meteor, interceptor, Himalayan etc were smaller son who went in different schools.. some went to gym and built their body
But in the end Bullet still is the father of all
