Shirland Wakes 2024

Ths village fair is always one of my favourite ones, one of only two surviving proper villas wakes left in Derbyshire.
The locals always appreciate the fair and do give it support, each year the lessees the Whiting family provide a lovely selection of rides and attractions for all ages , this year was no exception. for the first time in the fairs history it was going to open on the Sunday , instead of Monday which is not considered the best of nights business wise
