I've followed Orgy, and now Julien-K, since I was 14 years old. I'm 29 now. I have to say, the music you guys in Julien-K have been putting out is absolutely unlike anything that's out today. It's like you guys time traveled from the '80s in the best possible way, and Ryan Shuck's vocals are absolute perfection in conjunction with that sound. I seriously cannot stop listening to this album; you've blown my mind again. Keep up the amazing work, and know that you inspire me as a fellow musician nearly every day.

I remember listening to Julien K demo's in 2004 and (very) patiently waiting for the album to drop. It's hard to believe that was 11 years ago!!! It's been so awesome to watch this band grow and evolve over that time. I fell in love with this song from the first moment I heard it and the video is equally as good! This video should have at least a million views!!!!

No, I was actually right the first time!! "as my California dreams waste away in my precious teens"
But the trees were wasting away in the video, among other things, so I got confused. I'd always heard it as "dreams", I gotta be confident in my gut feeling.
I think California Noir 1 is my favourite album I've heard so far. It has Photo Voltaire. I've been enjoying that on repeat since 2015 when I got Spotify. I hope to own some vinyl soon.
Even though I have lived in southern California all my life, this song still so significant to me this exactly how I felt when I went up to Chico to look the CSU and about three weeks ago I got an acceptance letter from them.

Hey, fantastic! I had heard the music, but had never seen the video, you are the only reason in which Electronic is my favorite music genre. Waiting for part 2! I met them while playing Sonic Heroes and it was in the Team Sonic vs. Team Dark , and the background music was the This Machine. As I am talking about games, you still come back to the Sonic series or video games?

Ryan Shuck This music is darker than it looks. The terrain vague is everywhere on it. Is a nice inspiration for artists.
Softer than what I'd hope for with JK but I still like it. Looking forward to see how this album turned out. Been out the loop for a while unintentionally but I'm optimistic about the last two albums that have been released.

For me, black flags first and foremost/ always represent Anarchism.
I've walked on beaches like that with just 1000s of dead fish lining the sand. When I tried to figure out what was going on, there were no answers. It didn't look natural and was quite shocking. Maybe the water in lake Ontario and rivers was polluted or there was a long freeze, or the water is getting hotter. I was told it was natural but there were literally thousands on this little beach near London Ontario. I'd never seen so many dead creatures in one place (per acre) before in my life nor have I since then and I'm including insects.
It could very well be something that just happens every year but I don't go to the beach often enough to see it. I'm not counting seashells as carcasses, by the way, I mean most animals that are identifiable as a large creature, at least half a foot long. Big enough for a meal if you caught one, and there were thousands. Such a waste of life.
