I listened to a couple of B&W recently at a hifi store, and was verry off put by all the bass they were trying to achive. and these sound the same, even though I can hear a lot of Hizz in this video recording, I can make out a clear destinct difference. Dont understand that B&W 3way speaker can lack so much detail. JBL is the way to go!
Drums sounded so much better on the B&W but you can barely even hear the guitar, yikes. JBL sounded pretty bad to be honest, like it was playing through a telephone. At least you could hear the guitar on the JBL though. Wasn't expecting this result, wanted to like the JBL.
If you don't hear the battery on the jbl then you have ear problems friend .... the jbl sound is damn bigger and more precise because it has the frequency response less emphasized on the ends of the band for what it seems to you as in the phone but it will be enough, to according to your taste, increase the treble knob and you're done
JBL vs B&W=Porsche vs Trabant or Moskvich.....Last year I made a comparison between the JBL K2 S9900 and the B & W 800D3 Diamond .... the music test is LP SQ John Keating Space Experience ....Turntable Thorens TD 126 MKII.....Amplifier H&K Citation XX & preamp XXP......The result.....JBL search(need and want) more power....much more power...sound loud and clear in shade.....amazing panorama...deep stage deep bass....the walls are shaken....7 degree earthquake.....radiates enormous dynamics and space.....Harman gave all but needed more.......as opposed to B&W which sank into mourning....on 150 W bass driver is capitulate (shooted&farts) and the test we continued with less power.....dynamic=zero.....deep bass (17 Hz is SF).....medium and high tones is screamingly not natural.....second test Also sprach Zarathustra......difference even worse ......I worked tests with Martin Logan and old Sequel and B&W....result same. Sequel is in midle and high Queen...bass is litle opaque....The test we proceeded with a tube amplifier with 4 tube 6CA7 at the output (home made)...After that, Bowers sounded better....no irritating highs, but Tube Amp is not HiFi....JBL work slower...but better than Bowers
いい比較動画ですね。ROCKを聴く限りでは常日頃全くROCKを聴かない私にでもJBLに軍配を上げます。出来れば、クラッシクで室内楽やシンフォニーでの比較をして頂けると、オーディオ専門店が近くにない多くの方にSP選択の参考になると思います。

I don't agree. I've two pairs of B&Ws, the 7 NT + the 9 NT. Perfect. There's no lack to discover, whether in regards to the bass nor the midrange... .

Very thin sound on the bW. Narrow soundstage. Not convincing likes the jbl which has a fast and juicy midrange, not to mention the bass.
Metallica 💖 JBL4312D持ってますけど、B&Wの音もいいなぁ。
For this comparison the JBL wins, but the B&W will be better for a smaller room.

JBLはレスポンスが良いという印象です。空気録音のせいでしょうが上と下はあまり聞こえないです。一方のB&Wは一聴きれいな音ですがメタリカのような音は向いてない気がしました。
JBL・・・
エネルギッシュで音が早い。
高音〜中音にかけて煩さとフレッシュさの紙一重な感じ。
楽器の音が近くてまさにモニターしてるイメージ。コーンが鳴ってるJBLぽさを除けば味付けは薄め。
ギターの開放感がスタジオで聴き慣れた感覚。
B&W・・・
聴きやすく上品なB&Wらしい濃いめの味付け。
距離を取って俯瞰して聴いてるイメージ。
尖ったギターがきめ細やかなディストーションになりこれはこれで気持ちが良い。
良い意味でスケールダウンして万人受けさせた感。
小〜中音量一歩手前ならB&W
中〜大音量ならJBL
が楽しいと思います。

小口径ミッドのJBLがジャカジャカするのに対し、大口径ミッドのb&wは深く沈み込む音ですね。
大口径ウーファーのJBLは直接音がよく聞こえ、キックのキレがある。
b&wは箱で響かせるので太く、ふくよか。
対照的な2機種ですね。

電子楽器の信号をアンプで増幅して、会場のスピーカーがJBLなんて事はよくあるし
それを際限するんならJBLのスピーカーから出る音＝本物なんだしなｗ
映画館なんかもJBL多いしなぁ いわゆるJBL音っていう一つの音楽ジャンルだなｗ
b&w + marantzユーザーですが、ロックは苦手です。
ボーカルやアンプラグドが得意だと思います。

B＆W 684から704S2に変えました。ゲームの素材採掘ですら効果音の響きが段違いです。
B&Wの600シリーズは駄作、683所有してますが、マランツアンプでは晴らしきれない、ケーブル、インシュレーターその他位置や振り角、その他、真空管バッファー追加、色々な事したが、イマイチ。もう一方のダリで聴くことが多いです。
The problem with this comparison is the amp that been use it did not much either of the speakers

JBL is more detailed..JBL for me..
The 4312 bass is over-boomed while the 7nt is more real and defined. But, for Rocks, bass is a bit more overrated at a real stage.
4312Eの高音多すぎるからアッテネーターで調整したら良い
B&Wのほうは音が暗くてセコいw 4312Eで圧勝だからね。これが4319や4429だったら話にならないと思う。B&Wだったら、せめて702S2くらいで比べないとダメだよ（笑）
