Why Is constructive criticism such a bad thing! love the band but I wish the trombone section would work on some clarity in their tone! It's a bit sloppy for me! Don't mean it in a bad way! One horn player to another!
there was a jumble amongst the trombones early on - and it never completely cleared up. but listen to their other songs - this one stands out as the norm for these guys is to be exceptionally tight.

1st and 2nd bones clearly forgot they were 1st and 2nd bones. Also, after watching more videos than I care to mention, it has become clear that Reggie can't develop a musical idea to save his life. Cmon, dude. Showboating is cool and all, but not when it's all you do every damn solo. Take the volume down a dynamic level so we can hear the trumpet line, start being part of the ensemble, and for the love of Pete be musical for once when you solo.

Well I mean I think you kinda missed the point of soloing...
well, what about Ballad of the eagle claw. Does Reggie overplays on the intro ??? His solo on Rva is in the song mood... Considering clarity and feeling sloppy of the trombone section, as mentionned by another guy, maybe don't forget that it's a brass band, a moving brass band :) If I want to hear perfect ( and maybe boring) trombone sections, there are some big bands for use... It's part of their sound
