I bought a Diablo from my store with soft rubber strings last year, and it keeps on falling or is not balancing after a single jump or spin. She uses a Diabolo with a ball bearing. Execpt of the finger grinding you can do all tricks she shows with an non beaing diaboilo too. There are man shops where you can buy Diabolos online.
Everything would be opposite. So swap the right and left hand instructions. Also, if the yoyo has a bearing, like in video, the metal piece in the middle turns with one side of the yoyo. Put that side on bottom when starting, or facing towards you when yoyoing (for left hand).
I learned more in one minute from her than from any teacher I've ever had!!!
