Can I just say one thing, the ultra *blasters* are cool. The white and orange look cool af, the designs are just badass and they shoot really f’ing hard, some hitting harder than 100 FPS WHICH IS ABOVE THE RIVAL PAR. If they just came out with another dart which was soft like the elite darts (but the end was still hard for the pusher mechanism in some of the current blasters to still work), and the dart had accustrike tips that flew far and were accurate, it would be one of the best nerf lines out there. So much lost potential because of a bad dart type.

and also some ergonomics of the blaster are trash like the ultra 5 that just wont shoot unless you punch air to get the dart to the right spot

After not watching coop for a couple years, it's interesting to see his home decor go from minimalist monochrome to a more rustic and filled out look
What confuses me is that the AMP came with a 6-rounder, and the Pharaoh came with a 10-rounder. They came in weird like that.

IKR? Good thing that Scream Machine was available, which is technically repaint/retool of Dorado, but still getting bad reviews by himself.
The likely reason for them not releasing the Dorado in the US is because of the name. Too many allusions to El Dorado and the Spanish conquistadors.

Great video! I'll add that the ultra 4 gets 108fps+/- when converted to half length/elite darts. But you have to make a custom adapter that presses in the little button that the ultra nipple used to press.
My brother got the ultra 3, we had to return it because the darts kept breaking and he didn't like the blaster
I bought the Pharoh when it was on sale for $35, it def packs a punch, its accurate most of the time and the bolt action makes it to cool
The nerf ultra actualy got me back into nerf. I personally really love the 5 and 2. and never have experienced issues

Perhaps not coincidentally, the top pics are also among the easiest to convert to .50 cal darts - Ultra Two elite conversions are popular, and similarly, the Pharaoh is relatively easily converted to short darts.

Hey Coop, what you do and the work of a few other youtube content producers is so helpful that I usually don't make a purchase without checking your review first. But I need to know if you can do another type of review, targets. I see in a few of your reviews you use different netting set ups, one that was for a slingshot ( a netted box with a hanging target that catches the ammo). Ones that hang on the back of doors and one that was the size of a large drape. I personally think it would be great to find out where we can get these, how much and if they're any good. Please help, need to practice to stay tacti-cool!!!
The AMP would've been better with 10 round mags and those 10 rounders being available for purches. But yeah, Ultra is style where the Adventure force Villinator is raw 40 round function. No contest.

I am about to buy the nerf Pharaoh. I don't know why people hate this series so much, it's clearly meant for fun and not for actual in game use and it completely fullfills it's role especially the Ultra Two™ and The Ultra Pharaoh™. Even coop recommends them at 2:15 and 5:12 respectively
Late comment, but its mostly because of the darts. The blasters themselves aren't really anything to write home about, with the exception of the Two and Pharaoh. The Two in particular has a unique loading style that we have not really seen replicated in Nerf or similar platforms, and its what makes the blaster fun. But across the community its agreed that the Ultra darts suck. They don't perform nearly as well as advertised, they are made of a relatively inferior material than standard darts, and because they are proprietary, you are forced to buy more of them because existing darts aren't compatible. In the end they are a simple marketing ploy to get people to buy their own mandatory darts instead of superior darts made by competing brands. As far as I know, nobody else can make these darts, and without modding, they are the only option available to us.
TL;DR, the issue with the series is the darts, not the blasters.
