The man who made me truly fall in love with basketball has been reborn this season. I remember tuning in and watching that full 50 point game he had on Halloween night. Nearly made me tear up. Drose probably has the best comeback story of any athlete. ROTY, to youngest MVP ever, to 7-8 years of on and off injuries, thinking about retiring while only being 30 years old, then the Tom Thibodeau and the Timberwolves gave him a chance, and he proved he still is a solid basketball player in this league. Derrick Rose isn't that same Drose we knew in Chicago, he is much smarter now. Less aggressive and athletic, but more smooth, savvy, and actually has a reliable jump shot now. So happy to see this man back on the court and doing what he loves. Drose has officially bloomed once again.
