Another year of South By Southwest is upon us, and the Paste team has descended upon Austin, Texas for a marathon of music, tacos and cheap beer. This year, though, we brought at least those three things to our backyard, shooting sessions with some of our favorite bands in between heading downtown to find our next favorite bands.
First up was Shakey Graves, the musical stylings of Austin local Alejandro Rose-Garcia. He dialed up the volume for a pretty sweet wakeup call, railing through a couple of songs and rattling the roof on our little Austin bungalow. Check out his performance of “The Perfect Parts” here.
