Holy crap it's finally finished...a fun fact for y'all: I actually finished the storyboards for this video over half a year ago. I've been putting off finishing this video for the longest time (as some of you know), but it's all good now.
I read all the comments about Zelda looking all masculine in the last video and hopefully it's better in this video. Drawing feminine characters is not my strong suit...

This really crushes my heart. They've gotten to open up to each other and even started to fall in love with one another just to be ripped apart by a calamity shortly afterwards... so sad.

Link actually does speak. Can't remember which game though but he said scuse me princess
demon kid20 that was in the cartoon I think. He does speak in the CDI games but that doesn’t count lol
I was fangirling so hard during the entirety of the video. I really love this two ao much, and this game gave us such a beautiful (not explicit but pretty obvious) love story. And dare I say, you showed every single emotion and moment perfectly. The way they looked at each other,,,, I ENDED UP BAWLING OVER THIS. THEY ARE TOO MUCH FOR MEE 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Same... even just a few words, like screaming Zelda's name when she falls into the abyss, would be really impactful to Link's story. And I feel like as long as they used the same voice actor that 'voices' Link already, the transition would be pretty smooth.
I like how Zelda realizes her true love for Link when he saves her from the Yiga. You can even see it on her face in the original cutscene.
When I saw the diary I was really in awe, then I found this video and she’d a tear when I see how Link is silently bearing all the people who depend upon him fulfilling his destiny, this is why Link is my favorite character hands down and changing no minds, he being a quiet type person just proves how strong he is both as a person and a hero.
This is so well done, the lighting, the little animations here and there, the music. I’ve seen your other diary entries and this one is probably my favorite. Wonderful job as always. 😊
Link is the kind of person to start "pain resistance training". and repeatedly stab himself to raise his tolerance to pain.

I was truly put into motion by this, I love it so much. I feel like it explains so much in which you do not hear in the game. Zelda is so understanding, they have a lot of ups and downs, but I think its amazing how both Link and Zelda stay strong, even if Link has to silently bear it.
That shot at 3:52 was so brilliant! I keep rewatching it endlessly

He's her escort, her appointed knight, he would have to do it, and it would be pretty intimidating and annoying to have someone continously watching you, his eyes laid on you all the time whithout showing any kind of emotion in anything like his expression or whithout saying a word
This was awesome. I was thinking the whole time: "if you really want to pull our heartstrings, after the last scene, cut to a scene with her reading her journal in the castle, post calamity, and then she goes and looks out the window forlornly."
3:06 Zelda can't be just thinking about what Link did for her if she's blushing that much. She's definitely thinking something more inappropriate if she's redder than the suit of the dead Yiga Clan member behind her.
Why would she need to be thinking about something inappropriate? People blush when they like someone or are dazzled by someone, when that person is close to them or does something for them, as well as for example the heart beats faster and such
@@doloresgronenberg5882 inappropriate for someone who is supposed to be royalty, not necessarily inappropriate as in sexual thoughts.

So I was bored and thought it was unfair that Link never got a diary so I wrote him one 😅 one of the scenes was inspired by this art :D

Link does have a diary.
"The Adventure Log of BOTW."
For the English version, it was written in the player's perspective.
However, in the original Japanese version, it was written from Link's perspective.
That log which all players had to read and refer to for missions, IS his diary. At least, it's his diary as the current Link and not the one from 100 years ago.
