As you can see in the title, this is a re-upload. I'm doing this because the person who originally made this deactivated his You(Tube) account, so I'm bringing it back on the site. This is also where I got my username and intro from, so if you've ever wondered about that, this should clear it up for you. The user's name (wordplay) was MrPajo08 and I'm assuming that he deactivated his account because it basically had very little potential, seeing as though he had uploaded his last video on August 16, 2012, more than 4 years ago. His last video was entitled "Wilford Brimley Says To Go Get Ice Cream", and, for some unknown reason, he never uploaded another video after that. I'm not entirely if he got tired of You(Tube) or what, but he posted these for a short period of time (From December 31, 2010 to August 16, 2012), and then suddenly disappeared. He never was really interactive with any of his viewers and none of his viewers knows what he looks like in real life or even his real name, so what happened to this guy (Or, dare I say, girl) will forever remain a mystery. Whatever happened to him, it's important that his legacy moves on. I think this video deserves a proper showcase. I take no credit for this other than re-uploading it.

Idk why WGN never aired this uncut&uncensored version as it was intended. Bonus Points for Cousin Arnold's speaking in CARNIE. That frozen underwear sounds pretty wild too.

The irony here is that this version of the infomercial is much more honest. Most of the almost unanimous 1 star reviews said the knives don't even cut butter and actually were one for the price of two considering that they charged more for shipping than they did for the knives, but hid that cost from the consumer. What Ron said at 7:55 turned out to be true.
I recall some years ago (around the time I first saw the original paid program for the knives) reading a lot of reviews and they varied by year. Most of the older reviews were positive, complimenting the high quality of the knives and customer service, but then there came a point when Popeil sold his company and from there, the knives diminished in quality, taking with it the quality of the customer service, and therefore the reviews, but this as I said was some time ago (around June/July 2015) so don't quote me on that.
The quality may have gotten worse over the years. A long time ago, perhaps around when this commercial aired originally, my family bought a couple of the Ronco knife sets, and one member of my family had the Chef Tony-promoted "Miracle Blade" set. The Showtime knives were significantly nicer to use and they also lasted longer. The blades didn't rust as quickly, and the riveted handles held up better than the single molded plastic piece on the Miracle Blades. Of course, the Roncos weren't great knives but for how cheap they were you couldn't have bought cheap knives at Walmart that were any better.
