She was really generous. Those colors were awful - so sheer and streaky. I haven't bought a polish in the last few years from Walmart that was even close to being that bad.

I really like the color selection they have honestly. They feel very well thought out and very retro to me. I think the packaging is quite pretty as well. However, never in my entire life would I spend money on luxury items just for the name. Especially considering how poorly the polishes performed

Especially since my personal opinion (and my friends have said the same things) is that French doesn't sound very elegant or pretty. When I think of France I think high-end or when something is French I suppose it's usually 'fancy', but the language itself is far from something 'pretty'... but that's just my opinion.

Excellent point! I like the way, the sensible way Christine approached this and educated about it. At 63, I have used expensive polishes and noticed the same thing. BECAUSE of Christine I’m not getting acrylic nails anymore either. My nails are slowly growing out, I own a farm so I don’t need the length, but feel better about myself.

Honestly, I’m more willing to pay money for fair trade. Like for example, I prefer buying the Tony Chocolonely bar, even if it’s 5 bucks per bar, cause they support fair trade, and are huge advocates for stopping the chocolate slave trade, which I appreciate. Plus, they taste super good. ☺️ and the bars are as thick as two fingers, super good. It’s not paying for a name, it’s paying for quality, and what the company stands for.
