Can 6 days of food fit in a BV 450 canister?

After removing most of the air from my freeze dried meals, and carefully packing them into the BV 450, I was easily able to pack 6 days of food.

Some tips for bear can use; Use a credit card in between the nub & the lock then twist the lid. Much, much easier. For food packing try pouring the dehydrated meals into a ziploc freezer bag, squeeze the air out, the zip it shut. The ziploc freezer bags can be cooked in, whereas normal ziploc bags cannot. Also put some reflective tape/stickers on your bear can to help you find it in the dark/low light conditions
