Hi guys, here is a song I composed 6-7 years ago called “The Dragon Charmer”. This song was released on my first album “The Lost Book Of Fantasy” shorty after I started composing. I am remaking / polishing up this album again for myself as for me my first album gives such a great nostalgic fantasy feeling and I’m just not happy with the quality of the recordings. As time passes on its always easy to pick apart your past works, I love the compositions on the album but the levelling and mastering isn’t the standard I want it to be. I know a lot of people enjoyed this piece so I hope you like the new “not overly changed” version of the song. Have a great week and stay safe!

Why Celtic though? Because whenever we hear Dragons, Eastern Asia comes to mind.
I have always loved this. The name is fitting as well, as it is both mesmerizing and pleadingly melodious. No wonder the dragon was charmed ;)

The dragon spreads her wings and looks down at you, indicating a sign of peace and prosperity in you. You feel at peace, and sudden loyal to the beast. You have tamed her.*

I play DnD with my friends, and I got a playlist of songs I play in the background when certain NPCs appear in the game. The original Dragoncharmer is a song that I've played as the theme for an important Druid NPC, who ended up in a tricky spot in the last game, and players are worried that they died. With their amazing roleplaying and good rolls, however, they managed to save his life, they just don't know about it yet.
I'm so going to play this new and improved version next time when they get him back "from the death". x'D

I love that this appears right as I was plotting out a story of a beast tamer finding a dragon and saving it. Also, I knew I had heard this long ago but couldn't remember where or what it was called. Today seems to be quite a pleasant day.

This is truly lovely music Peter, I am a Celtic music fanatic, and this is definitely at the top end for quality in the genre. The harmonies in the strings are absolutely stunning, the flow in them as well. Love the work with the choir as well, the singer's hum is so beautiful and expressive. The flute is wonderful as well, and works nicely on it's own, as well as with the other elements. The harp is gorgeous too, and hold a lot of it's own character and expression throughout. Definitely a masterpiece that inspires me a lot, and I too remake my songs sometimes, so that is very understandable ❤️
Listen to his masterpiece with your headphones on, when it's raining, close your eyes, pause reality and take a deep breathe.

Peter, have not heard the original so this polished version just blew me away. It's beautifully arranged and draws you into the non-vocal melody. Any song that grabs my attention before my first cup of coffee is a winner...well done ❤❤❤❤❤

Ever work with modern fantasy music? I know ambient and drone isn't your way but I wonder about new directions. I personally love mixed orchestra whimsical themes. Modern and "urban" fantasy music is interesting too and I love some of your more ethnic, odd and unique pieces.
