  • Cammed My 2JZ Toyota SUPRA and it sounds AMAZING! MKIV SUPRA GSC S2 CAMS
    In this video I go over my GSC S2 cam upgrade on my MKIV TOYOTA SUPRA. The GSC S2 cams for the 2JZ-GTE are drop in cams that only require upgraded valve springs and retainers. New camshafts are a must if you are trying to get the most horsepower out of you 2JZ Toyota Supra.

      @@drjdmtuning4982 Map Ecu has the ability to do flex fuel based on blending two maps (93 and E85). I just have separate maps I switch when I change to different fuels. There's a manual adjustment needed each time since there is some fuel (either 93 or e85) remaining in the tank when you switch. It would be far easier and simpler with a properly tuned stand alone.

    How do you like the throttle response even with the gsc s2 cam and stock intake manifold? I think if you keep the stock intake manifold even with the larger turbo the response should be great. Will you do a driving review with your current setup?

    • @TunerTestDrive
      @TunerTestDrive  Před 2 lety +1

      My current setup does seem a bit lazier with than it was with the OEM cams (could all be in my head though), but not anything too noticeable. The top end gains will more than make up for it.

    • @TunerTestDrive
      @TunerTestDrive  Před 2 lety

      At my power level of around 700 wheel, an aftermarket intake really isn’t needed. I would do it just for the aesthetics and how much better/cleaner they look compared to the OEM intake manifold. I can deal with the slight loss on the low end.

      I had to go back and rewatch this to see the skull....weird. No I’m curios to see it that is dirt or cob webs. Having no truly local tuner has kept me just going stand-alone. Plus I’ve been making just small changes to the car over the years and really didn’t want to reschedule tuning after each change. The piggyback has worked well enough, but at this point I’m getting tired of messing with it and will eventually just hand over the control to a real tuner and ems.
