After hearing how strict Hannah's mom's schedule is, the whole list of things to do, especially with the 8 or 9 PM bedtimes, i can understand why Hannah and her mom got into so many arguments.
Different parents have different parenting styles and different kids have different needs. Her mom also literally said that 10 or 10:30 pm is also fine for them @1:02. Some kids can really benefit from having structure.

I agree with doing academic things throughout the day so you’re not just sitting around on video games & phones but an entire schedule like that ? No. For the younger boys , that’s a great idea but not those 2 older girls.

She literally told them idc what u have in ur schedule I just want u to have one (prob so they don’t fall into a slump of not doing anything!). She wanted them to include activities that would incorporate exercise, intellectual stimulation, and productivity, at least that’s what I get from it. Very inaccurate, idk if you’re aware but a parents responsibility is to set structure and guidelines call it “control” if you’d like but that’s what good healthy parenting is. This isn’t extreme, ppl our age don’t know how to act these days and that’s mainly bc of poor parenting.
She’s a business owner. She’s probably that way at her business. It probably is all she knows and functions with. Yeah some of it is way unnecessary for any of those kids but who knows. That’s my only observation on it.

Unlike other people i actually appreciate that your mother is taking her time to help her children in the best way by making sure of that your siblings can spend their free time in something useful. Mothers have the right to advise their children for their own well being, their health and their education. You are lucky to have a caring mother who worries about your time management.
