As a kid of the 80s and 90s and HUGE Full House fan, thanks for this behind the curtain peak Dave! I’ve introduced my children to Full House and my 11 year old daughter and I have Full House Fridays every week! The show still stands up. Having said that: I never got into Fuller House. There was something special about the freedom you felt watching TGIF knowing there’s a late night ahead with no school in the morning. Ahhhhhhh the nostalgia 😢
Man that gave me all the feels I can totally relate as me and my 9 year old son are watching this episode We have watched the old series many times and finished Fuller House several times as well. It’s definitely tradition for me and my kids to watch this show together ❤
I say this as someone who wasn't around yet when "Full House" was on the air, I grew up watching the show regardless, and it definitely still holds up! "Fuller House" certainly isn't bad (I still enjoyed it), but I just think that it lacked a lot of the heart and sentimentality that gave "Full House" its charm.❤️

Scott Weinger is a good actor and did the voice of Aladdin really well back in the 90s but the writers didn't really do much with his personality on Full House. He was just.... the jock that ate all the time. There wasn't a whole lot else to his character than that.

Please tell Scott if he likes Robin Williams he needs to see the Frog Prince presented by Shelley Duvalls' Faerie Tale Theatre. Paul Reubens also did one as Pinnochio, there's so many gems!
I loved a lot of Robin Williams movies, and this is no joke, but I think his coup-de-grace is "One Hour Photo". I'd never dreamed I'd see him in this kind of role and he really delivers. He was one sensational actor.

Ok so I have more like a memory to share, only it is my parents memory from I think before full house. So apparently my parents went to one of your gigs (Cleveland, Ohio) and my mom told me that my dad fell asleep at your show and I guess she said you yelled at him for sleeping lol (which in my mind was hilarious but apparently it was kind of a turn off for them!) I either wasn't born yet or I was just born so I didn't hear about this til way later (im 37 now)! All I got to say is my dad was always falling asleep lol he worked for Cleveland Public Power for over 25 years so even then he was always just out of it. (I don't know what year specifically and no idea what place the show was at!) Ok also I was curious if you were going to have Mary Kate and Ashley on just to talk ever, Michelle was the character I related most with because she was about my age the twins are 5 months older than me I just turned 37 in November 2023, and I have 2 older sisters one born in 79 and the other in 83 so we definitely pretended to be DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle it was real close! So far I just want to say I do love how you're doing the pod I think it's calm and exactly what I wanted to see in a rewatch podcast 😁
