  • On this edition of Pro Wrestling What If? We take a look at what could happen if Brock Lesnar didn't end The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania 30 back in 2014. With Brock Lesnar slowly being erased from history due to the Vince McMahon allegations, could we never hear about that moment ever again? Check out this video to find out what we think would happen in this alternate timeline. #WWE #BrockLesnar #Undertaker

@@ProWrestling.WhatIf but there was no logic or sense to have sting vs taker at 32 since sting debuted at ss 2014 and interfering in authority business so it was much more logical and made sense of him facing triple h as per storyline. Sting vs taker would be nothing than a dream match without story and build up while 2016 will give them more good enough reason to fight each other than WWE promoting it as dream match

Same, especially since Mania is Orlando since it was my first one. I believe he should’ve absolutely destroyed Roman Reigns and went 25-0 then retired his dead man character. Faced off 3 years later at Mania 36 with fans against AJ and won.

Taker valued the streak but also he was a company guy through and through so when Vince asked him to do the job he basically just said it's your show so okay. But in hindsight he did say if anyone was gonna break it he wanted it to be someone who it elevated like a bray Wyatt or a Roman reigns.

Personally, I think having either Sting or even Bray Wyatt break the streak would've been a better move. Brock Lesnar was already made a beast, and honestly, I didn't think he needed anymore proof that he was, it could've been saved for either Sting to better establish himself as a prominent wrestler in WWE and allow him to stay there for longer, or could've truly been a passing of the torch moment for Bray Wyatt to become the "new face of fear."

    • @ProWrestling.WhatIf
      @ProWrestling.WhatIf  Před 3 měsíci +1

Bray Wyatt would've been a great choice. Sting didn't need to end the streak, and Vince wouldn't of let it happen since he was a "WCW Guy"

@@ProWrestling.WhatIf Bray Wyatt would've been terrible choice if his career would remain the same like it was in real timelines. The only person who makes sense to defeat taker was the one who looks unstoppable beast, top guy or who's getting passing torch from Undertaker.
Brock still was more believable guy than anybody to beat him due to his character in wwe that time. Only person who can beat Undertaker in 2014 was John cena or possibly rock

Ive always said Brock was not a bad choice to break the streak for the fact that Cena wouldn't have allowed brock to sqaush him at summerslam and there for we lose an iconic summerslam main event and also that loss is the start of John Cenas mid card run which ruled so id rather have those 2 than takers streak, but i do think that punk or wyatt beating taker would have been better if they allowed who broke the streak to cook in the following months

Yeah……. I didn’t really disagree with anything you really said for the most part….. And I honestly believe (back then and now) that him losing to Brock to end the streak was literally on of the worst chosen!!! But also with that handicap match at the end….. I can’t see that happening at WM! Especially if the streak was still alive at that point!!! Either before or after!?! Mainly because if it happened at WM then it would be guaranteed that he wouldn’t lose!!! 100% no way! WWE knows how much they have to do to tiptoe around a mess they made until it starts to fade away (I would have said “WWE and fans”, but fans apparently have a very very VERY short memory!!! Almost comical!?! If it wasn’t for the fact that a lot of the stupid that’s going on right now, is only happening because of fans lack of memory)! And if they had The Undertaker lose his streak by not even losing it, that would be a large mess! And would take awhile for it to go away!!! But unfortunately, fans are still stuck in the stupid and WWE knows how short their memories are! So it could possibly happen….. but I still doubt it!

At WM 30 the opponent for the undertaker should be Chris jericho or Alberto del rio.Brock didn't need to win against the undertaker. For vince, that was a masterstroke and that's is something he actually feel proud of.Brock should go head to head with Kane. But that what we think.Brock in his first run with the company gained so much popularity and after his legitimate performance in UFC/Octagon.The streak shouldn't be ruined by him and if somebody could break that streak, that would be Roman reigns or Somebody like Samoa Joe.Which help them to be the next top guy in WWE.

Jericho vs Taker at WM 29 the year prior would have been better than Jericho vs Fandango. As for Punk... move him into the main event match and do what he suggested. Make it a Triple Threat Elimination Match where Punk gets eliminated and it still comes down to Rock vs Cena.

In this timeline, the list of injured stars is still in affect, so unfortunately Cena is out of the picture. However, I feel Undertaker wanted to face Cena and be his final match at 32, hense why he worked quite a bit in 2015. Almost like a retirement tour leading up to WrestleMania 32.

Undertaker never should've lost at Wrestlemania to both Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns. Stupid Mr. McMahon. On my Dream Undertaker Wrestlemania Undefeated streak, If Undertaker didn't wrestle Shane McMahon, I'd have had Undertaker face The Rock in a Hell In a Cell Match - under Last Man Standing rules with Stone Cold Steve Austin as guest Referee. If he hadn't missed Wrestlemania 35, I'd have like to have seen him face Bobby Lashley. And then the Boneyard match with AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 36. I wish it was 30 - 0 at WM.

This is pretty cool. It was a terrible idea for Brock to beat the streak because he didn't need that push. If it were someone like Punk or Wyatt or Reigns, it would have made a lot more sense as they were up and coming stars, it would have meant something. With Brock though, it was a part timer beating another part timer. Worst of all, it was an awful match. It would have been a lot better if Taker was in with someone else that night who could help him look good in the ring as his body just couldn't do the things that it used to do. If it were me, this is how I'd book it:
WM 30: Instead of Taker VS Brock and having Kane randomly teaming with the New Age Outlaws to take on The Shield, I'd have Taker VS Seth and Kane VS Dean. Taker beats Seth, Dean beats Kane.
Summerslam 2014: Brothers Of Destruction VS The Shield (Dean and Seth with Roman at ringside). Shield win after Roman interferes.
Survivor Series 2014: BOD, Goldust and Stardust VS The Shield and Big Show. BOD win.
WM 31: Taker Vs Wyatt. Taker wins.
WM 32: Taker VS Dean. Taker wins.
Royal Rumble 2017: Taker enters at 30 to win the Rumble. Roman wins the Universal Championship.
WM 33: Taker VS Roman - Streak VS Title Hell In A Cell Match. Roman wins.
WM 34: Brothers Of Destruction VS Cesaro and Sheamus - WWE Raw Tag Team Championships - BOD win, then defend the titles at selected PPVs for the rest of the year.
Royal Rumble 2019: Brothers Of Destruction VS The Revival - WWE Raw Tag Team Championships - The Revival win.
WM 36: Taker VS AJ Styles - Boneyard Match - Taker wins.
Survivor Series 2020 - Taker's 30th Anniversary. BOD, Edge and Jeff Hardy VS AJ Styles, The Revival and Randy Orton - BOD team win.
WM 40: Taker VS AJ Styles in front of an audience for the first time. AJ wins.
