Hi thx for the awesome review. Ive been wearing this watch for under a month now. Always been a fan of the xiaomi universe. Im very satisfied with this as compared with my galaxywatch 5 based on 2 reasons: Battery Life & Sync with Mi Fitness App without any other conditions (like how Samsung holds u ransom to own a Samsung phone in order to utilise all the functions properly...blegh). The fitness and health functions on this watch is really great, it even has that body temperature reading that ACTUALLY works on the watch itself (unlike samsung's still empty promise)
Stylistically, it's a beautiful watch, nothing extraordinary, although i still like the sleekness of the galaxy series.
But my main gripe is 2 things: the hefty size and weight, which can be felt when wearing it and also the lack of size choices, as it comes with only 1 size. So people with smaller wrists may find it really out of place wearing it. Lucky enough for me, i fall in the middle category of wrist size, it still looks big though, but I've gotten used to it. My overall rating for this watch 8/10. I would personally recommend this over a Galaxy.
Ouh, before i forget...battery is GREAT, although Xiaomi, i hope u could do 1 better with the charging port...it still is a dot click kind, lets step it up with the magnetic kind next round ya! Cheerios!
Highly recommended watch where u can wear it and not think abt getting a same brand phone. Its a freeeee world!!! Hahahahha!
Really good review, thanks
Good video, thanks. How do you transfer music from the phone to the watch? Is there an app or is it inside Xiaomi fit?
This watch doesn't have that feature though. Can only control a phone's playback while connected via Bluetooth.
CZcams music or Spotify
Can you install strava from store?
You have Explained what Everyone Didn't, and I was just checking all the positive points but after your videos i got a know that i was wrong because it was new tech for me. Thank you G should review some upcoming Techs

Can you explain how to add contacts to favorites , thanx
does all the futures work on any android devices, or just like samsung you need also een watch AND phone from sammy to get ecg etc to work
Seems to be working with all Android devices. I am using it with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 anyway
Does this Pro model compatible with eSIM in Malaysia? I was told by the sales staff that it isnt an LTE version. However, I read that it's an independent eSIM model on the Xiaomi global site for Xiaomi Malaysia. Wondering if it works with U Mobile independent number eSIM.
Probably they don't bring in the official LTE version. Imported version... Probably will have incompatibility issues
If you don't mind could you please tell me where I can get exactly the same watchface just like on your watch
Thanks in advance
You mean this one? I got it from Facer.

Can someone list all the activities? I can't find it on the internet. I am interesting:
- ice skating
- roller skating
- swimming open water
- sailing
- tenis
- squash
- skiing
- cross-country skiing
In the UK the Xiaomi watch is much cheaper than the new Galaxy watches, which makes them a bargain.
Eh how much cheaper in the UK?
@@NasiLemakTechThe Samsung 6 Classic Bluetooth is £399, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is £239.99, so is nearly half the price.
That is a huge price gap holy
@@NasiLemakTechI know, that why I'm going to buy the Xiaomi 😀
@@MrSpaceman82 go for it. There are some bugs but at that price, can't complain.
Wear OS is amazing - do have fun when you get it
Hello, some reviews state that the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass, is it true ? Thx.
Can't tell if it's true or not. Either way, it's glass and it'll break/scratch
As someone who was very disappointed with the previous Mi Watch/S1, this is finally something actually competitive from Xiaomi on the smartwatch market, with the typical Xiaomi annoyances.
Yes wearOS means worse battery in general, but you get a proper smartwatch, and the Snapdragon W1 helps on the performance part.
I ll have my eyes on it on a heavy price drop as well as Xiaomis update policy(horrible on S1), compared to Galaxy Watch 5 pro.
Also for anyone interested, i dont think there is a 4G version of this, for those that have/use esim, like Galaxy Watch.
Thanks for the review.
What do you mean with a proper smartwatch?
Wear OS is the proper smartwatch software. At the cost of higher price and worse battery life, that is
@@NasiLemakTech, What defines proper smartwatch software?
@@curl3v252 features available. Wear OS is very flexible and can do a lot of things - including installing apps from the Google Play Store.
How long does the battery last when you turn OFF always on display on the Xiaomi compared to the Galaxy watch 6 classic?
Oh - I forgot to mention, I was testing with AOD turned off. So about 24 hours. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm can last for 2 days
Thanks for the reply, it is just a bit confusing as to the results considering the fact that Xiaomi's watch has a bigger battery than in the Galaxy watch 6 so in theory the xiaomi's watch should last longer. Do you think wear OS is to blame?@@NasiLemakTech
@@happyhardware6911 could be the chipset or the software being unoptimized. I can't tell for sure.
I think what Xiaomi is selling is the W5+gen1 chip and the 32GB storage at the cheapest price. But the battery life is kinda disappointing, maybe a huge discount at the midyear would help to justify the product
Samsung's battery lasts much less, so this watch still works well
you cannot change vibration level, the AOD is too dim, vibration level is too weak
I got my Xiaomi smart watch band 8
That's also a good smartband!
Bro please tell us when xiaomi watch 2 pro come to India 🇮🇳
Maybe never
@@xiondFirst but why so 🙄🙄🙄
What kind of remote youre holding tho?😂
Some single-handed remote control for the teleprompter. It's the smallest we have 😢
1 day battery life, naaaa..
Is this only compatible with Android or iOS as well? Also, everyone seems good about this watch, except the poor battery life. That's sad. Most decent watches do anywhere from 7-14 days. 1-2 days is pathetic
Not sure if it works with iOS - I think it does?
As for the battery life - nah, you're referring to those smartbands, not a real smartwatch.
Real smartwatches run WearOS and has a lot of different features and flexibility to play around - including full access to the Google Play Store. Those smartbands can't do any of that.
Of course, the battery life on smartwatches aren't that good and has to be charged mostly on a daily basis. Like Apple's Watch, it's the same case too.
So you clearly haven't heard of Amazefit or big names like Garmin? Their smartwatches (not fitness bands) do 14-28 days of battery life depending on what modes you use. I suggest you look it up. @@NasiLemakTech
The software is not Wear OS. That’s the main differentiator.
Those you mentioned like the Amazfit are just round/square shaped fitness bands, still not a smartwatch
Again, look up Amazefit GTR 4, Garmin Venu series, Garmin Fenix series etc etc or any Garmin smartwatches or other brands. they are smartwatches and not fitness bands. They have their own proprietary OS. @@NasiLemakTech
They have all the features of a smartwatch including calling, text replies, GPS, 100+ sports modes, ECG etc etc etc@@NasiLemakTech
