    This was his second visit to the homestead, his first was as a young man travelling trough Europe

      The answer to the first question is no, the trees did not survive and the grandson of Mrs Ryan now runs the farm

    I HAD THE GREAT PRIVILEDGE OF SEEING HIM IN MY HOMETOWN CORK CITY IRELAND IN JUNE 28TH 1963 I WAS GIVEN TIME OFF WORK TO GO SEE HIM I WAS STANDING ON THE SOUTH MALL STREET CORK CITY WHEN HE PASSED BY HE WAS SMILING AND WAVING TO THE MASSIVE CROWD OF PEOPLE THAT TURNED OUT TO GREET HIM HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO CITY HALL TO MEET THE LORD MAYOR OF CORK CITY SEAN CASEY AND OTHER DIGNITARIES A WONDERFUL SPECIAL HAPPY GOLDEN MEMORY FOR ME THEN CAME THAT AWFUL DAY BLACK FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22ND 1963 IN DALLAS TEXAS U S A WHEN HE WAS MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD BY A PERSON OR PERSONS ???? WHO ARE NOT WORTHY OF MENTION A SAD DAY FOR THE WORLD J F K R I P AMEN ❤

      She is. I think she honestly saw him as a relative First and the fact he was the leader of the free world and US President was kinda incidental 😁😅 It's honest and endearing. That must have been one of the things he loved about this trip.
