Out of curiosity, and maybe you said, did you alternate the positions of the chest straps on each test?
It's well known that normally only the properly placed unit is accurate out the gate, with those placed less well taking time to lock on. I am not saying the cheaper unit cannot be better than the polar, but it would be interesting to see if that's a factor.
I did alternate, and tested each chest strap individually against a wrist based HRM, and the armband HRMs.
Tyvm for this test! the price difference here in Brazil between H10, HRM pro+ and the Coospo H9Z is WILD, your vid will same me alot of money 😁
I’m so glad it was helpful! The H9Z is a great monitor.
Interesting review. Not used a cheststrap for years, but am looking to improve my vo2 max,and thought it would be useful. I did own a Polar model around 10 years ago that worked well and did not cost the earth.
I currently use a Fitbit 5, and its estimate is between 45 and 49. As a baby boomer that seems a tad too generous, so thought I'd go for the Cooper Test on the treadmill.
Anyhow, thanks for sharing.
Glad it was helpful
My polar H10 now constantly spazzes out. It was amazing at first but now will sometimes read perfectly and, for most of the time, read absurdly low. Like, it will pick a random number between 50-80 and just sit there. I have tried replacing the battery and re setting it but no luck so far.
Oh wow that’s crazy!
Same here... After using polar h10 for a year, few weeks ago it started to freeze at 70-80 bpm..
I replaced the strap and battery and it still does that
I've red on a few forums that a lot of people have the same problem and nobody has a solution
I decided to buy a new one, not polar tho
Same problem here…
I have H10 with many straps ,I'd like to know that you can use Coospo on Polar straps ? thanks
I just plugged the Coospo monitor into the Polar H10 strap, and sure enough it powered on and started reading. So yes you can.
thanks ! @@UltraTrailSteven
I am planning to purchase the new Coros Pace 3 watch and wondering if it is more economical to get the HW9 from Coospo rather then the Coros Armband? How HW9 accuracy compare to the built-in optical heart rate from the watch?
Well like this video shows, the COROS HRM was slightly more accurate than the HW9 in my testing. Both were more accurate than the watches optical sensor
Thanks, that helps a lot! 😊
I can't keep the h10 from rubbing me raw...so lately I've just been trusting my 265 as "close enough"
Yep. I’m in camp close enough. I don’t train by heart rate so for me it’s just data.
Is the coospo h9z compatible with coros pace3?
Yes it is!
Im buying one soon, so it's Polar h10 or coospo h9z?
For the most accurate of these, yes.
Comparison of accuracy between polar h10 and coospo h9z many differences
There are some
@@UltraTrailSteven thanks sir
can they also monitor your steps?
No they cannot. Not without a watch
How do you know the chest strap remains as the most accurate? What did you test them against that you know is 100% accurate? For all you know the optical arm band is more accurate and the chest strap is less accurate.
Did you watch the video? LOL
@@UltraTrailSteven I sure did. That's clearly why I asked politely what the chest strap was tested against that you know is 100% accurate. Your opinion is not a scientific testing device or method. For all you know an optical device could end up being more accurate and that's why it differs from the results of an ecg chest strap.
@@thechaoscoefficient the chest strap was compared against the Polar H10, which is widely considered one of the most accurate sports chest straps. The other devices were all compared to the accuracy of the chest strap monitors.
Not even Lee wants to see this thumbnail. 😂
Lee got the special version 😂
This guy thinks wahoo is only a fish 😂, hey you forgot to compare wahoo HR
Didn't forget, but don't have one.
That’s much better than polar uff by miles.
How do you know if results are good?, how can you say one is better, than other?. You do not have "perfect" sensor..., each of them in your review can show you crap - and you will not be able to recognize, because you don't compare with sensor which is perfectly calibrated
Well as I said, in *my* opinion, based off *my* results
Coospo... Chinese owned and operated. Send your money directly to the CCP and support Chinese belligerence around the globe. Nice work Comrade.
I feel cheated by the thumbnail lol
😂 sorry to disappoint! 😝
