There has to be a conference league spot to my understanding in the Premier League. 5th, 6th and Manchester United would be Europa League based on that scenario so it’s definitely something to look into but I still believe there has to be a conference league spot available in the league
You’re almost correct. If we finish 7th and GGMU win the FA Cup, we will miss out on Europe.
But the odds are certainly in our favour.

Just imagine if we had beaten Notts Forest, Luton and Bournemouth at home. Hardly a challenging task, we would have 7 more points and be certain of a Europa League place and likely a Champions League one if English teams had performed as usual in Europe. Just saying ....

We really should consider scouting players in the EFL Championship and even the League 1 because I feel we really missed out on good players and players that suits Eddies style... like Bowen, Olisse, Gyokeres to name a few and now hate to say it but I think sunderland has a good gem in their hands like Jack Clarke.
Radcliffe is certainly shaking things up at Man United, possibly the playing staff don't like being treated like naughty little school boys, especially at a time when the coaching staff need calm heads in the dressing room as they aproach the business end of the season and are playing for a place in European football. thank you Mr Radcliffe for your superb man management skills, your like a bull in a china shop so keep doing Newcastle favours, please don't leave your shake up until the end of the season, your Manager would be pulling his hair out by the roots if he wasn't bald already.

The only problem is if Man U win the FA cup then one of the Europa places will go to them, so 7th won’t be enough for conference league. Don’t think they’ll beat city though so we are in a great position.

IF Callum Wilson wants to stay, we would be mad to sell him, you are never going to replace him for even twice the money you get for him. He will be in the Euros and fully expect his value and demand for him to shoot up during that. I think we are better bringing in a young striker to develop and cover for both Isak and Wilson and give Callum an extension. He is one of the lower paid players so anyone coming in anywhere near his quality will cost more. For me it is a no brainer, hopefully Eddie persuades him to stay. Upper body injury was a fluke, he looks deadly, prolific and hungry right now.

Keep Wilson and bring in a young strike with high potential. Learning from the likes of Isak & Wilson has to be a draw to aspiring youngsters. It will be interesting to see what happens with Kuol - will Eddie take a look at him in pre-season?

Reckon we keep Callum next season as proven goal scorer. Liverpool, Citeh, Arsenal all failed in Europe because they didn't have someone like Callum to bring on with 20 minutes remaining to get a goal. If we want to win something next season then definitely keep Callum.

Unfortunately I don't think we are guaranteed European football if we get 7th. If Utd win the FA Cup (unlikely I know) and we finish 7th (and Chelsea get 6th) then Chelsea will get conference league and Utd get Europa League. I think that's how it works anyway.
