Gage has that certain something, that makes explanations a joy to take in. When I look back at my school days, I can think of at least 9 or 10 teachers I had, whom I would GLADLY have replaced with Gage. Haha

Larch wood cutting boards are awesome. Love my carving board I got from you. Great information you brought out. However a couple of clarifications. The Larchwood Canada website says you can use vinegar but not to use baking soda. Vinegar is mildly acidic and will disinfect your board without staining. Baking soda will discolour your board. They highly recommend using lemon juice to clean and a combination of lemon juice and salt for deep cleaning.. I’m using both with excellent results. Smells nice too!!! Leaning your cutting boards will not cause them to curve. Curving occurs from either a poorly made board that hasn’t been glued properly or when the board is not moisturized properly. An example of this is when the top is moisturized and the bottom is allowed to go severely dry or vice versa or not moisturized at all.

Would like to see other choices for cutting boards like the Hasegawa or Asahi and your opinions on them vs wood.

Thanks for the great video! One note if I have any feedback is the sound. Not sure if its the mic you use or the sound absorption but it is more off on this video. 2nd would you say if you give any care (even to a cheap a$$ knife) would you get rid of any glass style board? I have a really cheap tiny wood one, a tiny plastic kind, and a large glass one that is sentimental but I think its defeats the purpose after research on these. I know your not sponsored but any preference on okay thick wooden boards? Thanks :)

What size board are you using in the video?

My man, you gotta step up your mic game. Remember, half of video content is audio. Muy importante! You can grab a cheap clip on boya mic on Amazon for like $35. Do it! You’ll thank me later.

We have since upped our mic game! We didn't have luck with the few lavs we tried but now we have a shotgun on an off camera mount which has been working a lot better! Now we just need some sound proofing....one day
