Challenge the Leaders, 2001 (William Hague)

(May 23, 2001) BBC broadcast a special “Question Time” program called “Challenge the Leaders” with Conservative Party leader Mr. Hague taking questions from British viewers and members of a studio audience. British voters will go to the polls for a general election on June 7th. Party leaders are out campaigning and making appearances on political programs. If Mr. Hague’s party wins the most House of Commons seats, he would become prime minister.
