I wanted to see a kiss between the two of them somewhere in the series, but my hopes for that were immediately crushed when episode 13 came out. I was completely devastated by episode 13’s turn of events that I cried my eyes out for about 30 full minutes

I dont think seungmo like jaein tho. It never dawned to me that he likes her. I think it's more of affection just like how he feels for Lee An and also guilt because he knows Jaein's father is not the culprit. I think he bore the weight of knowing the truth which affected many ppl for so many years, but he couldn't do anything about it because he felt he was alone. But now, he isnt.
