The bird is Raven, a joker and trickster which is why the opening is behind him. Raven for the Inuit correspond s to Kokopeli for the southwest peoples.
Thanks Anita. Very helpful!
The piece marked mambo is probably Cuban from where the dance originated.
Yes, but it would technically be considered Afro-Cuban and still problematic for ebay resale.
The turtle wall art looked Aboriginal (Australian). The Alaskan box represents their eagle, I believe. And the African face comb on the table (17:27) probably would have been worth picking up--I have sold those for good money.
Great that you can count on John letting you film his sales. So glad because you know how people love and watch the estate sale videos. There were so many interesting pieces in that house! Also, I really like seeing what Mrs. PT finds on her own-a great addition to the video. All in all, very enjoyable!!!
Thanks so much, Lina! John is awesome and I’m very thankful. Mrs PT said thx k you! Glad you liked it!
The Alaskan piece you picked up is Tlingit/Haida art.
Thank you
Wagon. You need one. Daisy is incredible. I have been watching you all day.
Lol. The Prime Time Treasure Hunter can never be seen with a wagon. Just pure brute force lll. Daisy says hi! Thanks for watching!!!
I guess the term would be table full of ethnic items. Love it.
True.
Mercado means market in Spanish and I love that 3-D textile picture that you picked up, lovely!
Thanks! Plus it’s a popular last name
Art work smaller doesn't mean a lesser price. Love the estate sale.
The table had some great items. I'd pick the masks and the very cool carved Alaskan piece.
@@lauriehughes8130 We think alike :)
13:26 "What would you pick up off this table?" the dog hooks and the Alaska piece
p.s. Great finds Mrs. PT 🙂 and loved the dbl taps
Thanks for telling me your pick
Thanks RTR!
Love Miss Daisy! ❤
Would check the bottom of that crystal decanter for Baccarat, Waterford marks.
Yeah, I checked bottoms off camera. Nothing on that one
Mercado means Market. It's a textile representation of a market in Peru.
Yes, market. Plus, also a common last name.
Verdad!
Great video. Glad to have something fun to watch. Been laid up recovering from a spine fusion. You had some nice finds but Mrs. Primetime…..HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK! You go girl. She knows what she’s doing!
You made her day! Yes, she is AMAZING! Get better soon!
Like how you pat everything when you put it in the box
Thanks Mary! That’s the famous double tap lol
14:01 I would have got all the masks on that table but kept them for myself ❤😊
I also would have picked up all masks on the second table too❣ there were a few masks on the table where you got that quilt hanging piece, ❤😊
Thanks Vickie. You like masks. :)
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter yes and all different ones. I have always liked them. When I was younger I had a collection but I did not take them when I moved out. Mom sold them 😪
Daisy IS so funny! Her and her Narwal, she’s fierce, what a girl!
Lol she cracks me up every day!
30:28 I was about to say, I'm glad that the estate sale owners allow you to film and don't give you any grief. Thank you so much John AND Prime Time Picker for making such great content! 🎉
Thanks! It’s Prime Time Treasure Hunter though 😄
And his name is Dom, not John.
@@lisageilhausen1866 m&m is referring to the estate sale company owner (John). Got his name right but not mine lol.
Got it! Thanks for the art lesson and reminder about checking the backs of the paintings for info, very good tip!
You’re so funny I love listening to you❤️❤️❤️❤️🍀
lol thank you!
Great video. Thanks to John for letting you record at that estate sale. My favorite pick ups were the Halloween throw with Mickey and Minnie and several of the jewelry pieces that Mrs. Prime Time found.🤗
Thanks! I recently listed the blanket too.
Love your adorable dog with her wee toy
Thank you!
That Eagle’s shirt would be perfect for the Philly Phlipper! Great video 😊
Yup. Just sold tonight though!
Thank you John!!!
Many Blessings sir!
That table is awesome!
Nice stuff there!
Awesome video! Thank you!
Daisy is so precious and yes, please give her snuggles from me. Found some great stuff! I love the little wood house💕 Thanks for taking us along.
Awesome vid, thanks for all the info
Dom, you are such a hoot -just luv watching whenever you have a new show!!❤
Thanks Joyce! I appreciate that!
Love Mexican fabric art!!
Yeah, very colorful!
Gosh I forget that non-Mexicans pay up for regular stuff I grew up with! 😃💰
Love the sales especially the estate sale it is great
Oh. I'm so glad you picked up the indigenous Alaskan carving. That was instantly my top pick off the table.
Thanks Laurel. My fave as well!
I need that eagles shirt . I love it .
I think you may have bought it tonight
Those West African masks you got are cool! I woulda got them too! Some people have some really interesting stuff!
Thanks! Another reason I love estate sales!
Very interesting table and at half price. Lots of good!!!
Thanks :)
very educational- thankyou
Thanks!
Mrs Primetime for the win!
LOL true!
Loved the painting you decided to buy of the horses.
I would have picked up the small colorful mask lying flat on the table to the right of the figure you wiggled around.😅
Maybe the dog ate Ringo.
Well I missed the premiere and I just now got around to watching this… Great video as usual!
I think you covered all the check marks in this one: Daisy ✔️ Ladies✔️ music during ladies✔️ several double taps✔️ awesome finds by both you and Mrs. PT ✔️ (bonus- ladies purchased by Mrs. PT! ✔️)
Great day of finds! I think I would have grabbed that ugly head. Just weird enough to give a shot.
That eagle bowl thing from Alaska was probably a good grab
Nice tips on the art TY, I'll have to remember next time I see it the wild to check the backs
For Mrs, PT, the wild shirts. That was my fave.
I thought about the head but I gotta stay married lol. Yes, I love that Alaskan piece. Just sold the Eagles shirt tonight!
Cool house..creepy cellar music!
Wow...great find on the jewelry..I'm a crafter..I can't find much especially at that wonderful price😅
I love daisy
Mercado is Spanish for Market. Cool piece!
Yep, also a popular last name
Great video, I think the Alaska "puzzle box" is Inuit.
Of course chin scratches to Daisy from Larkin, who loves all kinds of scratches and pets, and returns them, too!
consider it done!
fav the five dollar crafting lot
Thanks for the video. You are very funny and fun to watch and your little doggie is adorable. I like that she had the little thing in her mouth made me smile Mrs. primetime. Found some good bargains. Well you did too. I like how you pat stuff I know a lady that’s a reseller. She pats a lot of things Two. Anyway, enjoy your video and I’ll get you on your next one. Thanks. Oh yeah, give Daisy all the scratches and all The belly rubs she could take we love our pets
Thanks Gwenia. I will give Daisy lots of belly scrathes for you. :)
I notified you some time ago about Petti Coat Junction paper dolls. Had some medical problems soon after. I can now pay for them if you can find them. I’m so sorry. Love your videos.
Thanks! I have some paper dolls available in my eBay store. Hope you are well
I did it opposite. I went to a yard sale, and then next season attended an estate sale at the same house. I really wish they had sold me a bunch of stuff at Yard sale prices, because the estate sale was stacked!
It's definitely a neat thing to do
I picked the hand carved elephant too
I would of took the Beatles coasters too🎉
Yeah, hard to pass that up
Is Tiki stuff still hot? Yup, the Masks.
Great pick on the Alaska carving. Eagle maybe?
Yes to Tiki! I thought it was a penguin but another person said eagle too.
I think it is a raven. Tlingit
Awesome video Dom!! Lmao Mrs primetime is getting used to the lady's!! 🤣
Lol she’s awesome lol. The best lady of all
16:27 - Don't know what this is for, but it's probably from Tlingkit Indians in British Columbia. The design on the movable part is a raven. The red and black colors are typical.
Ok thanks Carol!
Nice hauls! Mrs Pt know what's good =]
I've sold a couple of those Alaska pieces..love them
Nice!
I sold the crap out of Black Americana when I had an antique booth in an Antique Mall. I never had anyone complain when I was working.
Right. That’s a good venue for it. But you’re not allowed to sell it on eBay anymore
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter bummer. It's a part of history, yet so many want to erase it.
I would buy the girl fireman but my wife would kill me ! LOL !
LOL.
I'm certain that you have a rationale for not using an image search. It is a bit time consuming, but in the case of expensive purchases it can be helpful.
I use image search all the time. I even have a video all about using Google Lens. I just don't show everything I do in the video.
Hello. Vis a vis the art work, I feel you should have not been discouraged by the dirt on the glass of the piece you picked up and discarded in the first room upstairs. The homeowner had an eye for art, and that particular piece caught my eye and interest. Glad, though, that you are dipping your toe into purchasing art. Happy hunting!
Maybe loved ringo soo much it was worn out😂
Lol
I am doing art also. Other than the shipping part, it is so fun.
Cool!
Hi Dom... love your videos (always) Curious... do you clean items (like the small jewelry box, frames, hats or shirts) before posting? Is some 'dirt' desirable or is it best to clean off items for dirt and stains?
Great question, Michele. If it’s dirt or a stain that can be easily removed, the answer is usually yes. However, there are some exceptions such as being careful not to polish old coins. There is a certain desirability to a rusty distressed appearance on old metal signs so you would not want to repaint it but I would wipe dirt and dust off. I can’t think of any item where dirt epileptic be desirable though.
Art pieces are normally slow sellers. I do see art as well. I found art pieces, they were all nun themed. I bought all they had at a private estate sale for a few dollars each. All 5 of the art pieces sold to one buyer for hundreds each. One sold to another buyer. They didn't last long.
Yep! I like to mix in some long tail items with the fast sellers.
Is the Alaskan piece a salt cellar? Its very cool.
I think its for storage
I would have gotten the skinny tall people figures
I also would pick up the three Beatles coasters
Thanks!
I’m interested in basketball posters for my grandson…. Might you tell me what you are asking for them? Thanks … Blessings Yiayia Pat
Ps- love your CZcamss
Thanks! They are all listed on my eBay store as shown in the video. Here is the link: www.ebay.com/str/primetimetreasure
black, red and white round mask
Who would hate Ringo?
Lol
I love the way you brag on your wife.
She has the radar
14:13 the bird
Re the tapestry. Mercado means market, doesn't it?
Yes. Also a common last name
I carry a multi tool in my purse for problems like that nail.
Yep, I have one too but sometimes keep in the car to go to as a last resort if I can't find something at the sale to remove it.
Sometimes I go or most times I go to see the property.
On table..pottery vases
Get the Beetles -$3.00. No brained.
Got it
Yeah you pronounced Catawba correctly ❤
Wow, shocker lol
Elephant, masks, all pottery, most hand carved items,
Our dog pretty much
Turtle Art looks very much like Australian aboriginal art
Thanks. I agree. I had an Aboriginal boomerang 🪃 that looks like it
been watching your vids for awhile now and you can't tell me that Mrs Prime time got those pictures...We know how you are when you find these types of ❌rated things 🤣
LOL 100% she got them. Message her on Instagram at mrs_primetime and she will confirm lol. We keep it 100% here.
Beware when looking at old art gallery price tags (such as the $450 one in the video). Most art galleries will require unknown / amateur artists to price their pieces at least $100+ in order to boost perceived value. Hoping the ones you picked were winners though!!
Here's to hoping. Definitely a good buy in price
Not really a reseller comment but, Syracuse folks might consider checking out the Coming Home exhibit at the Everson this summer. Photographs by Doug Muir, who grew up in Syracuse.
Good tip. Thanks Beth
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter you're welcome. He was my Stepfather and a fantastic person and photographer. His pictures span decades and the country.
15:00 That was an amazing table, I would take all the masks, hard telling if I could actually sell them or keep them. The carved box is amazing, most all of the pieces that were obviously handmade. Well, except for the freaky old man carving. Love the mask next to him, though.
I’d ask what they’d take if you took all of the items on the table
Oh gosh, I'd forgotten about BOOBY TRAP! Hi sweet Daisy!!
Glad to bring back, memories!
I’ve sold Pokémon bed sheets.
Nice!
On that table of ethnic arts, the more elaborate masks would be the best pick in our market (NZ). The figures - carved etc - do not sell.
Hmmm ok thanks
Very strange that the water damage on the Hot Stuff poster is right by the nozzle. On the table at 13:39, I would have gotten most or all of the Folk Art. I go for the weird, the wonderful, and the OOAK. Does the African stuff sell? I don't know, but I would have bought it. I would have passed on the drum at 14:46, too. The PNW Native Art would be a for sure for me, if I could afford it. I would display it in my home and enjoy it until it sold. I would have gotten the top two art pieces at 20:04. Mercado = market. I played Booby Trap when I was a kid. Belly rub and chin scratch from me to Daisy. My new dog Ned Kelly sends her a butt sniffing session.
Thanks for all of that. Black Americana did sell but now its banned on ebay so I don't touch it. Lol on Daisy.
Arnt you tired of sleeping on the couch!!
LOL, nah
On Long Island the garage sales have been garbage sales for so far this year and very few good estate sales
Sorry to hear. Shout out to Massapequa Park
I remember playing the booby trap game
Good memories!
New subscriber. I have been enjoying your content…but sometimes just TOO much explanation. 😊
Sorry about that! That's me! lol
Booby trap…played it all the time
Cool
Lol
Ur to funnh
Mrs PT did so well with the shirts and jewelry which of course is my favorite because it might show up on whatnot 😉🪩💎
