On the morning of election day 2012, at about 3 or so, I woke up from a bad dream & asked Jesus to reveal himself to me; and that exact same image came down at an angle through the ceiling & wall. He touched me on my stomach with His right hand, then ascended back at the place He came. This all happened before I became a believer & right before I seen her actual painting. Thinking about it now as I'm about to finish watching "Heaven Is For Real", all I can say is woww. I seen Him & glory be to God.

This is amazing!!! GOD will do anything if we ask him and he has a plan for us. God also works in different ways and we may not even notice. God help me share the Gospel for the first time when I was around like middle school with other neighbor that had a different reglion and I didn't even notice that God had help me until like Junior of High School doing Sunday School when we were learned about sharing the gospel with friends of different religion and I had been to church all my life.

Should we be surprised that a news channel left out the most critical piece of information about this painting? She saw a vision of Jesus and that's how she knew what he looks like. But God forbid they report on that fact.
She says in one of her bios that she needed a face to use for the Prince of Peace. It was an itinerant carpenter that showed up at her home that she decided to use as the face of Jesus. In the docudrama “Heaven is for Real”, it was Colton Burpo , after seeing the picture in the news said that was the man he sat with in heaven.

Isn’t God smart to bring Jesus to us in such a way that each of us can picture him in our own way? He can be any age, any race because his Father can be pictured as any race, any age. So we can enjoy this painting and not be locked into the artist’s conception. I am very partial to the George Burns’ option, but Samuel Morris (Prince Kaboo) has the history and personality that most matched Jesus. Dr. King was able to speak up for a person who stabbed him. He also spoke up for a person who had just publicly punched him in the face, so that’s quite a match, spiritually. Thanks for sharing.
I hate to be a "Scrooge" and I'm a believer. Did Jesus look like that? In Rev. 1:14, 16b ("His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire. His face was like the sun shining in its strength."). It seemed like he didn't. On the other hand this story was inspirational and sweet and I loved it.

She says in one of her bios that she needed a face to use for the Prince of Peace. It was an itinerant carpenter that showed up at her home that she decided to use as the face of Jesus. In the docudrama “Heaven is for Real”, it was Colton Burpo , after seeing the picture in the news said that was the man he sat with in heaven.

I could see it too, my name is Jairo Santos. I saw him in a dream while he was sleeping; He is blonde and has blue eyes ( light dark, long hair and brown sandals ).
Remember the book/movie heaven is for real. That’s a real story of a kid who went to heaven and met Jesus…. His parents showed him a bunch of pictures of Jesus and said “is this who you saw?” And he said “no” “no” “no” “no” to every one. Then they showed him the picture that Akiane drew and he said “that’s him”

As this is so important, I try to explain:
Before (in front of) God we are normally all sinners. God created the world and also us humans. And he gave his commandments. As rules. For example do not steal.
And we have in our countries the same law: Do not steal.
If s.o.would have stolen something and would stand in front of the lawyer, he could tell the Lawyer about his good deeds. And that he is a very helpful and kind Person, and that he would often donate money for good things...
What would the Lawyer do?
He would ignore whatever the Person would try to argue and say: This is not what it is about. You stand here because of your stealing.
So the Lawyer would tell him the verdict:
e.g. 50000€ or 1 year in prison.
And if that person had no money...
He would have to go to prison!
But if then all of a sudden a nother person would enter and put all the money on to the desk and say: Here! I would like to pay for you, do you want?
By the way, what would you do?
The choise is up to the thief.
If he would take the money and give it to the lowyer he would be free!
No Prison, no punishment.
And that s how it is with Jesus Christ:
We as humans are sinners. We have lied, stolen, betrayed, were jalous for others good luck or so.
And that s why we are guilty before God.
He created us and wanted- and still wants to have, a relationship with us.But as sinners we can not stand in his presence as he is very holy.
Jesus Christ took our sins and punishment upon himself so that we could be free.
If we accept it.
If we belive in him.
And give him your live.
You could seriously pray e.g. like this:
"Dear Lord Jesus Christ. I now understand, what you did on the cross. You payed for our and my guilt.
I am so sorry for what I did wrong. I had deserved the punishment and I accept your offer, that you beared it and payed it for me.
I thank you for this.
Please take my live, and come to dwell within me. I want to be your child."
If you do so, you will notice the change.
As it is written in Joh3,1ff.
You will receive the holy spirit and be born again.
You will be a new creature.
As it is written in the bible.
You will understand the bible much better.
And you know for sure that it s only through Jesus Christ that you can come to the father.
And there is no other way.

Isn’t God smart to bring Jesus to us in such a way that each of us can picture him in our own way? He can be any age, any race because his Father can be pictured as any race, any age. So we can enjoy this painting and not be locked into the artist’s conception. I am very partial to the George Burns’ option, but Samuel Morris (Prince Kaboo) has the history and personality that most matched Jesus. Dr. King was able to speak up for a person who stabbed him. He also spoke up for a person who had just publicly punched him in the face, so that’s quite a match, spiritually. Thanks for sharing.

I hate to be a "Scrooge" and I'm a believer. Did Jesus look like that? In Rev. 1:14, 16b ("His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire. His face was like the sun shining in its strength."). It seemed like he didn't.
On the other hand this story was inspirational and sweet and I loved it.
