    • @arshdeepsingh61
      @arshdeepsingh61 Před 3 lety +4

      @@TheUndertaker2408 Kharar is developing. Falls under Mohali. Private players are more there. GMADA hasn't touched Kharar yet as much as I know. VR Punjab, a huge mall, even bigger than Elante(Chandigarh) is in Kharar. A large number of colleges are in the Mohali Kharar belt.
      Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula all are very costly. Mohali is soon going to become a world class city. Obviously it is in Punjab. And electricity rates are higher in Punjab than UT. These kind of things are costly in Punjab. But Mohali has touched Kharar now. A normal random person even one working in an MNC with a decent package can't aim for Mohali without taking a huge loan. Chandigarh is out of reach of common man. Moreover I was analysing, Chandigarh is even costlier than Gurgaon in certain terms. Same thing for Mohali developed sectors. Try Aerocity in Mohali, a decent 8 marla plot there would be around 70-80 lakh there. ISB, airport road, upcoming IT park all connect to or are in Aerocity. Or try Kharar, Sunny Enclave type places. 15-20 km away from Chandigarh.

      @jass Haryana region was joined with punjab for just a period of around 100 years only. (from 1860s to 1966). Precisely, on 13 April 1858 the Haryana region was merged with the punjab region by the British. Before 1860s Haryana region used to be governed under the Delhi division of North West Provinces state . This state included whole Haryana , Delhi , West . UP and some part of Rajasthan . But due to the 1857 revolt the situation became out of control here and the British were facing difficulty while governing . Therefore for better administration and control , they transferred this Haryana region to punjab province in 1860s . After India attained independence, then it again separated in the year 1966 . Implying that Haryana co existed with punjab for just a small period of time . Otherwise punjab was disoriented from Haryana ever before . Further more , punjab ( punj - 5 , aab water / river ) means land of five rivers , which is indus , Jhelum , Chenab , Ravi and satluj . Out of which not even a single river passes through the Haryana region. Haryana has never been historically a part of punjab region, it was just a temporary alliance with punjab made by the British for administrative reasons.
