Had an old man call the other day. Hes retired and downsizing because he doeant want his family to have to deal with everything when he's gone. He named a price and i bought a striping machine, stencils, 50 gallons of paint, a bramd new Titan 440, and a brand new pressure washer. Gonna expand my business a little bit I think. Everything I've done has been helped tremendously by you Chris. Thank you for the videos.
Glad to help Danny
Thanks so much for the review and the kind words about the Titan Team Chris 👍.
The new Titan 440 X has some very good improvements too!
Checking in from Florida. I'ma a subscriber and starting my painting business soon. I appreciate all the tips and tricks you show others Chris. I learn alot from you. Stay blessed✨
Awesome! Thank you Zach!
They do have a nice smooth pattern I have had some problems though with thick paint with a brand new unit the titan 1700 . The positive sprayed a motel exterior worked perfect 27 gallons no problems
new
I have the 1900 pro highboy and had a lot of trouble spraying sherwin-williams exterior duration paint through it. I kept clogging at the tip. Used a 619 and still wouldn't spay very well. Thinned the paint about 10% with water and didn't help much. Still have it use it to spray thin materials like fence stain, sealers and works great for that.
If it was clogging at the tip, it is very likely that the paint needed to be strained. Try that next time and see if it helps.
Thank you Chris for your review. I have the European Wagner 350r airless, I believe it's the same as the American Titan. Could you please provide the exact link to your store with the fittings and flexible hose for this machine?
Thank you very much
Regards from Spain
great video can you add the paint extension to this like to get to higher spots ?
changeable fluid section is awesome. hammer trick doesn't always go well. thanks for the review Chris! Paint life rules! peace and love from Ohio!
Love Ohio
I noticed that the PSI for these units are fairly low (1600psi) compared to some Graco models at 3000psi. I saw your video on tips and you mentioned that PSI makes a difference for fine finish. I'm planning on using a 311 tip to paint some cabinets. Do you see the psi being an issue? Would it be hard to compare PSI because it is HEA?
So are the proprietary parts a deal breaker? And it were down to Graco X5/X7 or these which one would you pick?
1700 Tipton spryer from Lowe’s as Amazon . From AC thanks
Just bought a new multi family property and decided to spray. I wish I followed you before I started but your content saved me more aggravation and problems! Love your content!
That is awesome!
can you push an elastomeric exterior paint through the 1900? Need to do 1 large home. Would also use it for finer finish on doors and trim
That might be a little much
Did they skimp on the gun filter because of the low pressure being affected by filter? Miserable... Even after straining, have clog issues more than I should. Very happy with the spray pattern when it's not clogging and shooting every which way. Also didn't realize the hoses/fittings were propietery... Super super frustrating. I'll probably return this unit because of that, go back to my ancient X19 with a nice gun/hea tips
I'm still waiting for the hose-less Bluetooth sprayer system.
Me too!
How you put it oil on this machine
It does not use oil
👍🏼
😀
11 mpa max is not good. If you buy a sprayer go for min 20 mpa max pressure
That is relative
@@Idahopainter Relative important yes :-) But it is always good to have some backup performance. With this sprayer you are forced to use Hea. Even as a dot it yourselfer i would not be happy with it.
@@Com4nd3r. HEA is not a bad thing. It’s for a reason and creates an amazing spray pattern.
